@IndigoRiffRaff Oh my gosh ClueFinders... I had that game when I was like 4 or 5 and could never figure it out because I was too little to get it. And I have nostalgia for Putt Putt, as well as Type to Learn 3. Programs I grew up learning with.
i found a site with torrents for the original brazilian dubs of sailor moon, shurato, and digimon adventure. if you add magic knight rayearth, medabots and monster rancher that's my childhood right there.
KID PIX. Holy crap I just remembered that this thing existed. Especially that Oh No! undo button guy. It was actually Kid Pix D3 I believe.
THE MEMORIES COME FLOODING BACK My favorite thing to do on Kid Pix was scribble and put some of those sticker things on and then BLEND IT ALL UP into colorful pixel soup. I was a weird kid.
I remember it. I never actually watched it, but I saw a lot of ads for it. I see it got 3 seasons, so it must have been decently popular
did anyone else ever play this game? it was about hammering nails and screwing in bolts as a puzzle, or something. iirc we found it in a bargain bin at gamestop, and it was unexpectedly fun for how it sounds.
@Deresto That alien is going to give me nightmares. Also I can't help but notice your profile picture is Junkbot. So thanks for the nostalgia there. I suppose we are in the nostalgia thread, so that's quite fitting.
@oph HOLY SHIT MATHMAGIC LAND......i loved that other nostalgic things for me: - all the fantasia movies. bb!Rats' first intro to classical music and gorgeous animation - old tapes of cirque du soliel (def spelled that wrong) and barbie movies, bc when i was home sick from school id watch those on repeat up until i was about 10 or 11 or so - cyberchase eta: no but seriously mathmagic land was seriously what got me into math and art, im thinking about it now and man. good shit
@rats hell yes fantasia is the shit! @N yeah, he makes the weirdest noises too. here's an example of the gameplay:
OH MY GOSH GUBBLE. My bro got Gubble 2 for Christmas one year and it was legitimately an excellently difficult game. A handful of Gubble sounds are still in our family vocabulary, and I can still hum a bunch of the music, which was also good. G2 came with a level editor, too, which super fostered bro's love of game design. basically just. So good. (precious little support for it :( )
THERE'S A SECOND ONE?! i need to look this up immediately. but yeah, it was just a really fun and unique game, especially since i was drowning in spyro and crash sequels at the time (not that those weren't super fun, too).
Yessssssss and it's way better than the first one! Better level design, better graphics, better sounds, better difficulty curve.
