((Bill doesn't show up till the end of the first season and I don't show up till the middle of the second season but enjoy! Also my wife does not appear in canon because she is my mun's OC. Obviously I don't have three troll daughters in canon either but that would be a Weirdmageddon Tango thing.))

 

I could probably fix that. (I wish I could fix the glitches that make me freak out, but brains are harder to fix than processors.) As for the other thing, I won't know until you tell me.

 

*whispers into his ear*I may or may not have killed a man who killed my wife. I was very angry at him, but after avenging my wife, i felt really guilty. So what i'm asking is if you can erase my memory of that murder, and make me believe my wife died a natural death.

 

*whispers back*I'm a better engineer than programmer, I'm afraid. If your brain is organic, I can do that, but if your brain is a computer, we probably need someone else to do that. But I don't understand why you would feel guilty for that. I prefer to avoid violence whenever possible but if someone killed Valiska? I wouldn't consider it possible.

Thank you, i really needed a heart to program conversation. If you really think that keeping my memories like that, then i will accept it. In any case, if your an engineer, i was hoping you could repair my leg, i got a missile to it one day, and it doesnt feel right.

 

I had a very close friend who ruined his life by erasing all his upsetting memories. I was responsible for some of them and I can't even make amends to him because he doesn't even recognise me. He was a brilliant scientist and a programmer--he could have done things for you that I can't--but he destroyed himself. I can erase organic memories--but I don't like to do it, because I've seen what can come of it. Every time you destroy a memory you destroy a little bit of yourself. Now he's a crazy old coot who lives in a garbage dump and my brother thinks I don't know about it, but in fact I just don't like to talk about it.

And if the guy murdered your wife he deserves what he got. People shouldn't go murdering other people's spouses. I can fix your leg and I can probably fix the hardware on your processor, I just...don't write code. Not that kind of code anyway. I do cryptography.

 

I feel simpathy towards you, not all synths can feel that. So, what do you need to repair my leg?

 

Uh, well, Sev, you don't need to feel afraid to have feelings about things and express them. Like, you've got a right to them, you know, and well... I personally think your thoughts are pretty great. 'Cause they really are. I wasn't there for the argument, but, well, if I was, I'd have agreed with your position. Using 'human' to mean 'sapient' is really dumb when there are lots of sapients around - like me, for instance - who just aren't human. And there's nothing wrong with us not being human. It doesn't mean we're any lesser, despite what anybody says. So yeah, I think you were actually right there and there's no need to apologize for that. Stand up for yourself, stand up for what you believe - and not just to the government, to your friends and acquaintances too. On a personal level, not just on the giant political stage. Yeah... You've got the right to be heard, you know...
