Spoiler: Blake Oh wow my feelings re: Blake/Adam finally having their confrontation became ten times more intense with Adam's only line this ep. His VA has seriously improved since his first appearance in the Black trailer. Spoiler: Weiss Weiss was so badass this episode, I hope she summons the giant knight from her trailer so we can have a mecha duel. And her "be safe" to Blake was just lovely. Spoiler: Ruby Ruby with Penny's sword asdfhgkjsbv. I almost wish she hadn't gotten Crescent Rose back because that was amazing. And now she's going off to confront the bad guys alone. Again. You could have dragged Sun along, Ruby, his abs are a convenient bullet-shield!
Spoiler Hopefully him being headmaster means something other than administrative ability. Also I'm sort of disappointed that my joke about Velvet wasn't actually that far off.

Spoiler I could care less about what happened to Ruby, Blake, Neo, hell, i could care less about Velvet. Fricken velvet, the one everybody wanted to see. I need my waifu to be alright, losing an arm and her life is not good in my book. So help me god, she is the only character keeping my character list from surviving. help me, im crying like a little baby, wahhhhh. Spoiler: A Pairing That Shouldn't Make Sense So I made a crack ship generator, and well. Well. The first I got was Yang/Ironwood. Considering the most recent episode THIS MAKES SENSE SORT OF ACTUALLY as like a really fucked up relationship born of Ironwood seeing Yang as a younger version of himself, and Yang seeing Ironwood as an adult whose gone through an even worse version of what she's going through.

Spoiler Pyrrha's last stand was amazing omg. She genuinely nearly killed Cinder if not for sudden dragon attack.
Spoiler I am happy Yang is alright, but they could have given her a metal arm, that would have been cool. I am crying because of Pyrra, she wasnt one of my favorite characters, but she made a great impact on the show. As for Ruby, when she did her silver eyes trick, i was freaking out. I want to follow Qrow to know what happened to Ozpin. Cinder looked badass at the end. WE NEEDED MORE YANG, SHE HARDLY GOT ANY SCREEN TIME. All in all, OMG season, great music especially the Weiss and Yang vs. FNKY fight, but could have not left us off with a cliff hanger. Can't wait for Red vs Blue to come back. I need to make a thread.
Spoiler: Wishlist for Volume 4 Ruby and team JNR beat up Team ABRN for info because that's how investigation works, right, punching until truth comes out? Somehow completely destroy Cinder's plans in the process. SSSN continues to have wacky background adventures. Weiss teams up with the Meme Team (FNKI) to rescue Penny 2.0 from the sinister clutches of the Atlas Military-Industrial Complex, destroy the Schnee Dust Corp, and launch a military coup of Atlas to put Winter in charge because fuck yeah, Winter. Yang doesn't actually get a prosthetic arm, that's more of an Atlas thing and that's harder now what with the downed communication and possible war, she just learns to fight one-handed and modifies Ember Cilica somehow. Taiyang helps her through her recovery by being Awesome Dad and sharing his own experiences with depression. Taiyang and Qrow snark bitterly at one another to fuel my slashfic addiction. Raven continues to be Worst Mom in the background. Blake becomes Catgirl Batman full time, is eventually rescued from pit of self-loathing by a Weiss/Yang team up.
Spoiler Q: Is Cinder dead? And if so, who was she last thinking of? I mean, the glowy eyes implies Salem, but think about: Ruby being but not knowing that she's a Maiden.
Spoiler considering the thing Ruby did that pretty much froze the dragon Grimm--whatever that means--and might've killed Cinder, I think her also being a Maiden would be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay OP.
Spoiler The more I think about it, the more I like this conceit of the narrator being evil. Not like Aaron Burr "Let me tell you about this rival whom I was obsessed with and eventually shot" but evil. I like the idea of the framing narrator wanting, actively trying to get the people they're talking about to fail. It was okay in the beginning when it simply seemed that the main narrator was cynical, pessimistic, disagreeing with Ozpin because she didn't believe his plan would succeed. But now that it turns out that she was plotting against him, it brings in a whole new light on everything she says. More than an unreliable narrator, a malevolent narrator, where the grains of salt we have to take with everything she says have a very different flavor. I like it.
