i have an objection, u can only choose one option and that is absurd, there r too many fav octobabies 8(
but if i let you choose all the options, we would all choose all the options, because they are all adorbs! here have a cartwheel spider to console you pls to imagine a very tiny "whee!"
I really like daddy longlegs they are so chill and gentle and they remind me of the soot sprites in ghibli movies Also there is this hilarious rant:
Look at this cutie: Araneus diadematus, the common garden cross spider. They're mild as lambs and watching them spin their web is amazing. These and giant house spiders actually helped me over severe arachnophobia.
i looked them up, and they're also called 'crowned orb weaver' or 'diadem spider'. and with good reason, those markings are goreous!
Wolf spiders are one of my favorites. My only beef with them is they like to get into the house and surprise me by not being a wad of lint that i was going to throw away. That is a lot of spider to suddenly realize is in fact a spider and not dog fur. But they really are charming and very chill about being escorted back into the yard. (My mother is not a big fan of spiders.)
peacock spider! they are super colorful and they express themselves through dance and waving their legs and they are SO TINY i can't get over it
oh my word I looked them up and I I am in love they are so smol and colorful and dancey I can't handle this
oh my goodness that was wonderful that was amazing encore please I love these spiders with all my heart
