So here's how this thread works. It's a bit like a text adventure, except I'm the computer.
    1) You all control your own characters at the same time. I'll explain how that works.
    2) You issue commands by responding to this thread. The action that most people decide on will be the one that is executed.
    3) You must quote the last output (by me) for a command to be considered valid. This is to avoid confusion on when you're trying to execute an action.
    4) Every few hours, I will check back here and take all of your inputs into account.
    5) Keep your commands within reason. For example, if there's a fire in front of you, don't try and walk through the fire. That's just silly, and slightly ruins the experience.
    6) If you're entering for the first time, feel free to provide a very brief description. This isn't entirely necessary though.
    7) This is supposed to be fun! If you're not having fun, you don't have to stay here! If you do decide to leave, please make sure you tell people first.
    8) This is supposed to be a sci-fi RP as well. Exceptions can be made, but please try to stay within the realm of science fiction.

    Ready? Let's start.

You wake up in a room that smells odd. You can't quite identify what the smell is, but it's familiar, somehow. You're lying on the ground among a group of other people.

@OnnaStik You seem to be the only one awake right now. As you sit up and look around, you can't help but notice that the room is slightly shaking. The room is completely dark, apart from a glowing turbine nearby. It seems to be causing the shaking.

@OnnaStik Approaching the turbine, you notice the writing on the wall, warning of the volatility of the fuel. So this must be some kind of engine. You conclude that you have somehow managed to find your way onto a spaceship.
There is a small screen nearby, as well as a fuel hatch. Signs on the wall warn that touching the antimatter will annihilate you.

@OnnaStik The screen flicks on as you approach. There is a bit of scientific jargon that you can't understand, but something catches your eye. The word CHARGING is displayed above a progress bar and a timer. The bar is roughly three-quarters of the way full, while the timer displays "10 MINUTES TO JUMP." As you read this, you realize that the turbine seems to be speeding up, and a stream of rainbow-colored lightning is starting to flicker through the middle of the machine.

@OnnaStik You flick on the lights from the console. At least now you can see.

@rats As you look over the other people, you notice something odd. They seem to be merely sleeping, but with very little brain function. It's almost like a coma, like they're waiting for something to come along and wake them up.
(They're waiting for someone to take control of them.)
