hello! i am a previous lurker and a very recent poster. i joined for the tumblr drama and stayed for the community. you can call me apple! in fact i think that would be super cute. i'm not a big talker on the internet, so this is the first forum i've joined since ye olde dayes of gaiaonline. i haven't had an internet nickname in forever. i don't know what the standard information is for these intro posts. i'm a lady, an adult (of sorts), and a canadian. i like video games. my cat is very handsome, and his name is steve. i have several years' worth of pent-up fandom thoughts that i will no doubt spill all over the first poor innocent who accidentally brings up any of my many areas of interest. i'm nice, or at least i try very hard to be. i'm also incredibly self-conscious, so i'll probably sit on this post for another ten minutes before actually starting the thread.
i am so so so pleased that two people in as many days have mentioned it, i thought that golden sun had faded away into obscurity, never to be seen or heard from again

okay, in the interest of brevity im just gonna make a list i guess because ive been trying to think of some way to be eloquent about it, and i cannot. i cannot! so! i am always interested in talking about: @Deresto my favourites are these !! there are others but i always end up coming back to these ones..... skyrim pokemon (main games) dragon age (ESP DA2!!!!) golden sun fantasy life world of warcraft weeb shit: haikyuu!! hunter x hunter kuroko no basuke books: the raven cycle harry potter comics: transformers MTMTE fucking. homestuck, lets be real, i havent moved on general STUFF: ADHD!! i always wanna talk about my own brainweird and compare it to other peoples' my cat, tbh ummmm? THIS IS LONG. i am pretty tired and running out of brainpower so i will leave this be now
oh jeez one last prrrobably important thing to have as an introduction, before i go to bed for realsies, is that i'm basically anxious all the time and i get nervous and avoidant at the drop of a hat. especially wrt communication. i am trying to be better about it!! and having only moderate success :( unfortunately i am still prone to brief bouts of radio silence
Raven Cycle is so good, holy fuck, I'm so hyped for book 4. I wonder if we should make a thread for it? also welcome! :D I'm glad there's another person stuck in mtmte hell with the rest of us

yyyes i am so pumped for the raven king!! also i am so so pleased that golden sun fans are apparently still a thing?? i'm so pleased also. even though no one asked, i feel that getting to know steve is integral to getting to know me, so here are various stages of steve, from tiny fluffin to jackass juvenile tomcat to majestic miniature lion
