So I saw people were hatching eggs for the leap hear and I thought "sure, I'll do one" and got one that isn't half bad I don't really know the gen one market, do you think I could sell this boy for anything?
ah man, he's cute ;v; I'd not remembered it was leap today.. I had no eggs to hatch, but three babbies were born today.
@Arxon he's adorable, and could grow up really pretty with the right genes! iri/shim/thy and cherub/butt/glim both look gorgeous and that's just scratching the surface. Also the Poison markings on Pink match his Violet secondary really well- he'd look stunning as a poison/shim/thy skydancer! One of my flight friends suggested you try to sell him at 150K and lower the price if necessary; if you like I could wait till one of my flight buddies that's more of a gen one connoisseur comes around and see what he suggests, too :3
@The Mutant Thank you! Also, people keep telling me that Stained is just a photoshop/Sai filter, but nobody has told me which one, which sucks because I'm trying to preview some dragons for when the colorpocalypse happens. Does anyone here know? :V
Holy quick sale - ok so, when Trickmurk started, I had one of my two year old seven digits at level 13, and since Ghostlight was excellent for both pinecone and chest grinding and levelling, I got him up to level 25 by yesterday (unstated, no stones). I put him up for 500 gems on the AH thinking that it would be just in case someone liked him while I got around to making an official post, but he sold a few hours later. Maybe I underpriced him O_O; I've seen folks selling their level 25 statted and stoned dragons for 250k, but since this imperial has nice colors and few offspring, plus old, I calculated him to be around 400k... which I think is 500 gems unless I miscalculated. Still. I'm impressed. Regarding eggs, I was considering hatching but eh, I would rather hold onto my eggs until the color wheel expansion, then I will make BANK.
Look at this cute :3 He's a gen one, hatched today (leap year) and with- while not STUNNING colors, certainly workable ones (his tert is navy)- and I got him for 12K, how. o___o I should name him Impulse Buy. (now I gotta figure how to gene/breed change him pretty without racking up a huge list of gems I need. :P Green and Seafoam actually don't go great together; gotta find the right gene color to unify them)
@The Mutant that bab looks really nice with poison/butterfly, and for a tert either spines or glimmer if ur feeling particularly masochistic :p
Speaking of the color wheel I am getting so impatientttttt for it to be finished I've been good, haven't been breeding, haven't been buying dragons lately, all in anticipation of the color wheel expansion but it's taking too long and I am impatient and *whiiiiiiines*
I'd say it's at least another couple months away. Don't get too wound up until we're <10 colors from the end.

If you think she's gorgeous and want one of your own, go to her parents' lair- she had three similar siblings, guessing the owner might well be happy to sell them!

those red strain cry/fac/glim babs are up on the market a second time, and aside from more babies hatching... I just snagged this handsome triple mulberry bastard off the market for 15k. Come to me, beautiful thing, you will spawn many a babbu.
It's a little late buuut, Peridot finally grew up!! I've spent the last two months trying to breed her exact colors..I'll have to wait until the new colors are released to make the other characters thought. @TheMockingCrows What a find!! That dragon is easily worth 300-400 gems. @Raire 500 gems = 325kt. That's low for a fully stoned, seven digit imperial with good genes (and a desirable element like arcane, plague, nature, wind, light & lightning). Right now, the exchange rate is about 1 gem for 650t, it always helps to quickly check the gem buy/sell threads on item sales before deciding on the price of something expensive. The price of gems has been meandering between 650t and 690t for a few months now. At least your imp sold fast! I had a level 25 plague coatl with kind of bad genes/colors, and he took two weeks to sell at 350kt.
Just want to show off the really fantastic impulse buy I just made: He was only 20kt, which really surprised me.
