Something I found in the YouTube comments. Someone made up some dialogue for Sans regarding Gaster during the conversation at Grillbys. Spoilers, obviously.

How did the monsters know what exactly happened to Asriel on the surface?

That is a question. They don't seem to know that he and Chara wrestled for control, just that he went up, got attacked, refused to fight back, and brought Chara's body back.

I assume he stumbled in, and managed to tell somebody that much of the story before falling to pieces.

@IvyLB I saw that too! And as much as I love MatPat, I think that this wasn't exactly the theory we were asking (spamming him) for. Oh well.
And also the comments of that video are saying that Undertale is the new FNaF, in terms of it being "YouTube bait" and having a terrible fanbase. I agree that some fans of the game are rather fanatic, but at least some of us are older than 10 years old.
Also, YouTube comments are really cancerous towards fans of Undertale now. Ironically, they're calling us autistic. The irony being I actually have Asperger's and half of them don't actually know what autism is :|

 

I actually didn't expect the theory to crossover with earthbound, mostly because I haven't played earthbound.
But I liked it! The only thing I found a bit... mean? teasing? was that he kept going 'mmmmmmmaybe I'll do a theory on Gaster' and just. Clearly that's what his fanbase wants. That's probably what everyone was thinking about when they asked him to do an Undertale theory.
And youtube comments are almost always a minefield I don't participate in youtube as a community for that reason at all right now.
and seriously? i think Undertale is the opposite of what is generally understood as YouTube bait. The only part that might qualify could be the True Labs segment because everythign else is just... a cute quirky RPG with deep lore? the classic YouTube bait is one of physics engine jokes or jump scare heavy horror games.
Basically Youtube commenter culture is shit and i'm not surprised they are being inflammatory little shits who have no fucking idea what autism is but think it's a good insult.

 

So right now, at least in my area, Starbucks is making a smoked butterscotch latte.

So of course I had them put cinnamon powder on top.

I'm not sure if anyone has said it yet, but please read One By One. It's honestly the best Undertale fanfic I've ever read. Like, the only thing that was less than awesome for me is the use of "he" pronouns for Frisk.

(Don't read it if you haven't finished the game yet, though.)

 

Ok, I might be very late to this, but I have heard of this thing called Underfell. I found an awsome comic dub on Youtube, but they do different parts, so I asked my friend Bel Capricorn if he knew anything about it. He told me to mention it in an Undertale thread, and I chose this one because I have been reading it but not posting things.

So what I am trying to ask is, does anyone know how to get to the Underfell comic?

 

Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, there is no single, specific Underfell comic.

The original people who did the concept art had a blog with their concepts for the characters and so forth, but that has since been password-protected, and possibly deleted. I'm not sure how to get into that.

As far as I know, they're fine with other people expanding on the idea, because there have been plenty of other fic and art using it. Some of it is 2edgy2live, and some of it explores the ideas. My favorites tend to be ones that emphasize that these are the same characters deep down, but their world got corrupted from too many resets, and they think they have to be cruel to get by.

 

I think that was the one i watched. It had Flowey being nice and Toriel being wicked, although the dub stopped as soon as Toriel appeared, but she looked menacing. Should i post the video for help in my investigation?

Aha. This Underfell comic series is on Tumblr. It seems to be taking a different approach than most I've seen. But it's the most complete that I've seen, too. Most are just snippets of things here and there, rather than going through the story.
