That said, I do think you are being rather less than careful, Star, and if you are entrusted with an item that powerful, it is your obligation to protect it from those who could force you to misuse it or disassemble it and misuse the components. Your species is very powerful, but when you don't think things through, less powerful beings can still get the drop on you. Plus, there are always the people you love, who may not have your abilities.

Interesting. Normal Morganti weapons need to cut you to steal your souls, but that's all they can do. They're not exactly rare, but common enough that assassins use them when the person hiring them really wants to make a point. Great Weapons remove the ability of gods and demons to manifest on our plane of existence, which is close enough to dead for all practical purposes.
