A Love Square Between Two People [Miraculous Ladybug]

I haven't watched it yet and I am now terrified to read fanfic because I clicked on one and the A/N was like "yeah so spoilers" and I just ... noped out of the entire site, haha.

Fortunately all of the recommended posts on my dash lately have been k-drama related or, mystifyingly, spiritual magic stuff (which I am not, nor ever have been, into), so I should be safe there.

Goddamn, Adrien must be utterly terrified of Chloe. He's in such obvious distress when she gets to clinging, but he hardly ever says anything or pushes her away. Boy needs to learn to stand up for himself, or at least find someone who'll do it for him. Marinette for full time Kitten Son Bodyguard, 2016.

 

Miraculous subs has Ep 21 now. It comes before Guitar Villain.

i'm not going to say anything further on the origins because idk how you guys feel about watching it now instead of in the french order so.

 

Caved and watched the Quebec origins, and Ivan has such a cute design. I thought that before, but there were a ton pf close ups on his stupid freckles, what a cute. Everysingle side character in this show is utterly adorable.

I still cant get over how shippy these episodes were. The rain scene? Chat's absolutely smitten expression as Ladybug opens the parachute? his face during her speech? he was a goner from the moment they met and i'm just. i can't believe this show.
and chloé being awful and adrien being decent and the misunderstanding and aaaaaaaaaaahhh

 

I had no idea those were Quebec episodes, my sister told me the French audio episodes were available and I was like "oh cool" and went and watched them without thinking about where they came from, haha.

that was a really weird episode. I liked it, but it was painfully awkward and second-hand embarrassment-ish with all the singing and poor Tikki being manhandled - i need a screencap of that as a reaction picture tho

 

I just got done with Mr. Pigeon on Youtube! I'll probably watch a couple episodes tomorrow. I don't like binging TOO much.

I watched PP with the entire family (sans brother who's out of town) and there was a lot of horrified screaming at the singing bits. Especially "Cataclysm~" haha.

Someone pointed out that everyone who appears in the group shot in the opening credits has been akumatised, barring Marinette and Adrien, and there's only one episode left in the season ... I was about to start taking bets on which one of them would get it next episode before I remembered that Thomas Astruc reblogged this post recently.

So ... I wonder if anyone's going to get akumatised at all next episode?

Well, they said Volpina would be making her debut in S1, and there's only one episode left, so... i'm betting she will show p and we'll have whatever setup would make an origins flashback as the end of the season make sense.

 

Help why do I love this dorky show and its love square so much? Seriously, Teen Romance Drama is the genre I usually drop like a hot potato. But no, I just want Ladybug and C(h)at Noir to fight evil and be massive dorks at each other forever.

(Also maybe Chloé could take a hike)

I'm actually almost positive she's going to end up having the Bee Miraculous. She's a 'queen bee'. She wears yellow and black. She's subtly but constantly bee-themed. She's the bee. I'm calling it.

What I'm not certain is HOW she gets to that point, because she's pretty flat so far. Is this going to be a Pacifica thing where she gets depth in season 2, maybe?

 

Spoiler: being mean to chloe

Maybe after hawkmoth is defeated she finally has the chance to become the villain she was always meant to be i mean. wasn't she responsible for like, all but only five of the akuma? *bitter bitter mumble mumble*

She reminds me so much of my bullies in high school. The fish smell thing she did with Rose in PF? almost word-for-word stuff they said to me, only my comments were on the line of 'beached whale smell' after gym class :|

 

I watched four episodes with my siblings (which is great no matter whether the show is any good or not because I never really get to hang out with them) and we all love the show so far.

We finished the fourth episode and my sister turned to me and said, "why don't they just follow the white butterflies back to the villain?" And I'm wondering if there's a reason or if it's just to allow monster-of-the-week style episodes?
