currently mildly dispirited because i checked the reddit commentary on it before going to sleep and they collectively didnt get it and im not sure i want to check if people got it in the meantime.

 

If you're still after concrit, there is one point where you mention "the loo", which is not an American term at all, but other than that I think the school stuff works. I like this kind of mind-horror, so the story really appeals to me. :3

I'm a fan of subtler and mind horror more than of most other classic horror stuff, myself. That's the stuff that takes my imagination and runs with it oo00

 

Generally one would say someone was "in the bathroom" or the "restroom" or similar. We're very euphemistic about it. ;)

(the first day i really listened to it i was doing laundry in the basement of our apartment building. on a cloudy day. and the lights in there are motion-activated. every fifteen minutes a minor heart attack and shivers up my spine.)

personally i recc the Gideon Keys to everyone who will hold still! i'm not sure if i can take credit here but maybe. calgary being spooky as fuck has been a dangling plot point in my RP with jacktrash, though.

if you want something more overtly gruesome— but not quite so well written— check out the Holders Series, if that hasn't been recced yet.

some day i want to write something as cool and good as the calgary phenominon. some day. (but not at night. definitely not some night.)

@Kaylotta the Black Tapes episodes are numbered like [season][episode] (101, 211, etc), right? there aren't a hundred episodes not showing up on iTunes? just checking
