@Mercury I'm tempted to match the counter to the cushion or vice versa as well as make you matching floor. Do you have a preference for which color or maybe something different? Did I go too bright or would you like something darker or something more pastel?
And of course since I STILL can't figure out how to change the beginning bed, the nursery uses that model. I might convert the crib back, just to match, since you don't have an option to move or get rid of any of them. :| and I'd say don't bother upgrading to house level 3 but you REALLY get a lot of space, holy balls
@Ruevian I'm having a hard time deciding. The counter matching the cushion of that chair would look really nice, but a darker teal would also look really nice... HMMMM. This is hard. /o\ I just had a thought - maybe the texture for the smaller bed is in a totally different file? Like, it might be the texture used by ALL smaller beds, which would be... kind of suck. I'd deal with it for birch, though.
I switched the blue tiles to teal in case you wanted matching floors. Also tweaked the bed frame a bit... If this looks good to you, I can upload the xnb files for you~
OoOoOoh :D ... Cutting board a more contrasty color? It gets kind of lost in all the teal. (Would red be too garish? Thanks to Homestuck I am forever wanting to pair teal with red.) *considers learning how to mod the clothes because falling down the modding hole of another game is definitely a good idea*
ALRIGHT here's some files. farmhouse_tiles.xnb furniture.xnb walls_and_floors.xnb Download 'em and put the farmhouse_tiles and walls_and_floors in your Stardew Valley/Content folder and furniture in Stardew Valley/Content/Tilesheets. Replace the ones that are already in the folders, and I suggest you keep a file of unaltered xnbs as a backup before you override them!
BTW if any other kintsujin would like something recolored, just let me know and I'll try to hook you up.
just ducking in here to petulantly whine about how much i want to play this game and how much i'm looking forward to playing this game and everything everyone says about this game gets me super excited. but i am working my butt off all march so i can't possibly buy myself the game or i'll miss my deadlines because i'll do nothing else but play it WHIIIIINNNNE
actually i have a question, is the dating component of the game necessary for anything or just fun on its own? i'm not all that interested in dating games.
Not necessary at all! I'm enjoying being in my tricked out level 3 farmhouse with my giant bed and empty baby crib.
So this happened in my melon patch: What do I even do with that? Can I haul it to the harvest festival and make it my grange display? Cause it'd probably win...
If you chop it with an axe it'll explode into a bunch of tiny melons. No way to harvest the giant crops intact afaik.
