((Hmm. PM seems to me like taking someone aside and giving them a polite warning. A public reminder is a reminder to everyone, not just the person in question, and makes sure that everyone is on the same page. That seems more polite to me than a PM, where a person might say one thing to one person, and a different thing to another person, and they might never know the difference. But I will consider it!))

((I advise telling the player that you don't want Aaron to post to them, in parentheses like this. Making in-character remarks, and hoping that the player interprets it as a signal to stop rather than an invitation to play out the conversation, does not seem like the most effective means of communication.

((no, you did not. because I didn't actually think the player wants to sexually harass people IC and would therefore harass other people who would be more fun to harass. the IC remarks happened because that's what the character wanted to say.))

((The character seems to want to sexually harass other characters, and the question of what makes characters fun to harass is... up in the air. If something's not fun to play out, I really think it's simpler to say so. Or to simply ignore their responses. I can step in and warn characters to stop if I know that the player wants them to stop. But if I don't know, all I can respond to is what I see. So, if Aaron keeps it up, I'll ping them about it.))

((IDK, to me it seems like the character just wants to hit on everything that moves, not that they wouldn't stop if told not to explicitly, which the actual character being hit on already did, her husband was just being...overprotective, the way he always is. But we should get back to RPing, I've been told by someone who knows the player that the player does NOT want to harass people...))

 

*cringes* No, dude. Not being a jerk matters. And not just 'cause it gives you a good reputation or whatever. It matters 'cause people are people, and their feelings matter.

And I assure you that, if you are creepy or a fuckboy towards me, I'm dumping you. I mean, yeah, sure, I wanna have sex, it's fun and all, but I wanna be treated like a person too. And so far, Pap treats me like a person and Sunshine treats me like a person, and so do Deadpool and @The Jaeger Mirrors.

And you know what?

I thought you could manage that too. But the way you're talking right now, horseboy, is making me real doubtful of that. And well... I don't wanna dump you. I think the sex thing we've got going on is pretty nice. But if you don't respect my personhood, I'll do it.

(( wow, um aaron is a creepy character that gets spooked easily. i imagine him as a character that truly doesn't understand that people don't want to talk to him, but would go away if you got him to realize you truly don't want him around.

that said, i was planning on roleplaying him as an unlikeable character that doesn't quite understand yet why he's unlikeable. i'm personally not comfortable repeatedly harrassing people as much as aaron does, so if you yell at him he will go away and bother other characters. ))
