Human--when we had to bring them to our dimension following the recent unpleasantness, we adopted Ford's great-niece and nephew.

I don't know what Twilight is, but I think that we have the best love story. It's funny but it's ours and we like it.

It really was adorable. Our mother, however, did express the opinion that she would've preferred Valiska's one true love not be a demon-haunted dimensional wanderer who could and frequently did carry at least 90% of the stuff he owned in a backpack. Loudly and vehemently, for about three months.

After he made a shit ton of money and helped win the revolution, though, she'd talk like she arranged the whole thing.

But Valiska was different, she was special, she was going to do great and fantastic things and spit in the eye of the Beijaden and Ma didn't want her to get married so young. Everyone thought she was ace when we were all kids and Ma had these big ideas about how no man was ever going to be more important to Valiska than whatever she thought Valiska was going to do. Being a madam did not dispose our mother kindly to most of the men we dated, but she always figured I could handle them.

 

hmmm. Well that is nice taking the kid into adoption of sorts.

 

Well, it's also better than me and Sheila. We met accidentaly but it's still nice to see her.
