Spoiler: 51 huh. where do you get the human vibe? the organics in the tanks? it.... honestly did not occur to me that they might be humans. the pods seem a bit big for humans! since we're so teensy compared to cybertronians. ETA and the hand on the screen is so...... bony. i assumed we were dealing with Generic Fleshies, but i guess humans would be more interesting than that. but then that begs the question of how they got all the way to censere's planet in the first place!
so i started reading and so far my faves are Rung (who is a nerd with dumb eyebrows and needs to be protected at all costs), Skids (Who is an asshole and too funny and also needs to be protected at all costs), Rodimus (who needs to stop being so endearingly stupid) and Tailgate (who is a cinnamon roll)

Oh my goodness, yes, Rung is such an excellent character!! And all of those others too, I don't know how Rodimus wound up so freaking adorable when that kind of character archetype usually annoys the pants off me, but I love him so much. And seconding applechime with keeping us updated! It's so great watching people enjoy a thing for the first time :DDD

Spoiler: issue 4 mtmte I mean i get that this was probably something they did for tailgate's well-being because he's a bit naive and he didn't know but something about it is making me scream "WELL if you're gonna edit out all the bits where the autobots were probably douchebags TOO? of course he'll be heartbroken and regret his statement." like sorry, but somehow, as much as i like rodimus and rewind i'm not buying they didn't select footage in a way that's gonna be highly manipulative. Hell, they outright SAY it's an edited highlight reel. obviously they selected for effect, and i think it's kind of unfair to force a highly politicized, propaganda riddled narrative on tailgate, who... He doesn't have ANYONE there, NO ONE. He barely know Cyclonus? No one there advocated for him getting to form his own opinion based on a more or less unbiased data base or something. Instead they made Rewind pump "a history lesson" into his brain. 11.3 seconds of nothing but "this is why decepticons are the bad guys". I THOUGHT THAT WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE A THING ANYMORE? god i'm actually a bit pissed about this. Fuck.

Spoiler: issue 5 mtmte okay i am actually upset that i do not understand what cyclonus' problem with tailgate is i... this is a very sudden, very dramatic shift and i can tell there's something there that will hopefully be explained and it probably has to do with how people keep calling cy a murderer? But i weep for Tailgate that's. He doesn't understand. the lil dude is suffering. The suffering needs to stop. People aren't allowed to be mean to tailgate D:
