oh also some history on cyclonus: they call him a murderer because, well, he sort of is? the thing that they bring up a lot is the attack he led on Kimia, a research/weapons facility that chromedome, rewind, and brainstorm (among others) worked at. so, a lot of people on board the LL have good reason to hate him. buuut he was doing so under the orders of a dude named galvatron, and was at least a liiittle bit mind-controlled at the time (fun Dead Universe stuff). cyclonus eventually turned on him and was given a New Lease On Life and became not-a-zombie (did i not mention that he was a zombie prior to this because he was totally a zombie) through Matrix Shenanigans.

i figured what with the war and all there is probably ample reason to call him a murderer. but dang that sounds like major shenanigans. Poor Everyone.
Also he got stranded in the dead universe 6 million years ago, so he left cybertron and it was a paradise, then came back and everything was destroyed and everyone was dead. He's very bitter about... everything, really. Plus the autobots tend to lump him in with the decepticons, and he's very insistent that he was never affiliated with either side.

Spoiler: i mean it's the beginning of the series but still, i guess spoilers up through issue 5? so he feels... probably mildly betrayed that tailgate wants to pick a side. Because he thought there was someone who was also unaffiliated and who'd understand? Because Tailgate also missed the entire war? And also that tailgate had a tantrum at him about "misrepresenting" the war when from what i've gathered... Cy actually gave a pretty unbiased view? :(
