So, what with Act 6 Act 6 getting recursively broken up into six acts itself, I'm pretty sure everyone has joked that the same thing will happen with Act 6 Act 6 Act 6. And then laughed if off with faint horror because not even Hussie could do that at this point, right? Which I would agree!

But it occurs to me that, as the last update before the EOA6 shows, we're gearing up for six final showdowns--Jake vs. the Felt; Roxy, John, Rose, and Kanaya vs. the Condesce; Dave, Dirk, and Terezi vs. Spades Slick and Jack English; Meenah, Vriska, Karkat, and the ghost army vs. Lord English; PM vs. Bec Noir; and Caliborn vs. Yaldabaoth.

What if each of those battles is its own Act Act Act Act?

Confession: I didn't actually ship DaveKat at all until canon presented it so ambiguously. I actually like it more that way.

 

I didn't ship it until....a month ago? when I read this really cute, adorable, in-character fic that actually made me like the ship.

 

I loved Dave <3< Karkat, but they're adorable as <>. Arguments can be made for <3 but I'm set on spades or diamonds.

This is it, this is my perfect intersectional ship, I found it, I found the perfect quadrant meshing. Everything is beautiful.
