SAME, DUDE.... also can i just mention -- it is so great, so wonderful to me that the first concrete sign we have of heterosexuality, skids and getaway talking about how they flirted with firestar --- IMMEDIATELY AFTER, it's like OOPS skids thought she was a dude, and frankly getaway probably did too PSYCHE you thought there were gonna be straights here HA and also: ravage riding on nightbeat's back is fantastic, so is rodimus bragging to magnus -- "Just. By turning. Up." so is MAGNUS DANCING, rewind and CD dancing, nightbeat referring you to his tapping foot, TAILGATE REQUESTING "THE POWER OF LOVE" SO HE AND CYCLONUS CAN DANCE TO IT ravage and riptide playing fuck marry kill (which. i mean it has always bugged me that everyone calls it that, because I first learned it as "fuck marry bury" which is superior because it rhymes but anyway), brainstorm gettin' down, rung gettin' down, SKIDS AND NAUTICA TAKING A SELFIE and then velocity......! :) god everything from #32 on feels like a personal gift from jro to me

Spoiler: DC end Damn, that was some good shit right there. I really like Optimus, much more than I thought I would. (I feel like I'm saying that about everyone tho, good job giant robot comic at making me care.) Wtf is up with that, like sooper sleek vidya game art style that randomly popped in though. I don't like it. I don't like it even more than I don't like this art in general. Also I echo @IvyLB - Bumblebee noooooo, and Megatron and Optimus need to acknowledge the desperate hatecrush they share. The last few parts were a lot more comprehensible than the first few, although my eyebrows hit my forehead at what's his face, scientist mentor dude, I feel like one of the robots mentioned him as Arcee's nemesis at some point, anyway when he called Shockwave's plan pure logic I was like, no, my dude, that is pure side-effects-of-TBI. Also, my suspension of disbelief goes a long way when it comes to 'giant robot aliens' but Shockwave's ore gobbledygook was a handwave too far. It was just... Such a reach. It bothered me. So! Back to MTMTE and it's much more comprehensible art style, although I got really spoiled by a feature that kindle (and presumably comixology) has where it will highlight the panel you're on and zoom in on dialog, and if you swipe through it progresses in order. It's an ADHD godsend, but I just don't have the money to buy all the comics that way. :/ Maybe once I'm caught up I can buy the new issues that way, if it's like... idk, four bucks a pop once a month or w/e, spread out, that's much more doable than spending like *checks kindle, does math* a hundred bucks for the rest of the series. Edit: that was a lot of story, I need to go do something else for the rest of the night, much as I enjoyed it that first part was a struggle.

Spoiler: 43 re: "oh no, (x) is hot": I KNOW, RIGHT? So many of them are so attractive it isn't fair, whyyy. Especially Rodimus, oh my god, you adorable douche, stop being so precious. And Megatron. Plus those gloves and shoulder armor, oh MAN. Cyclonus especially too. And I agree with you so, so, SO hard on Rung and the glasses But yes, this issue is one of my favorites, the character moments are all so great and just. adsasdgagsd. First Aid did not actually leave with Ratchet! He left mostly on his lonesome, with a small group of minor characters. Mirage (another of my faves based on pre-mtmte) is having hallucinations about junk, and the writers are shifting characters between this and exRiD, so First Aid and Mirage and company are off to join the Combiner Wars storyline. Ratchet's still off doing his Ratchet thing (read the Empire of Stone miniseries if you want Drift and Ratchet content, though!) Bonus: Ambulon being all adorable and... intact in the old photos. Also Ironfist being all happy and alive in the photos. My poor giant robot children ;_;

I just want Chromedome and Rewind to be happy dammit they don't deserve this (For real, I accidentally woke my roommate up with happy screeching when) Spoiler: I forget the chapter but end of alt!LL they somehow managed to keep the alt!Rewind from vanishing with the rest of the dead Lost Light. ....did I miss something in my 3am bingeread, or is he literally sticking around through The Power Of Love? The timecase surviving makes sense, it's probably built to survive paradox shenanigans, but... Other pairings.... hmm hm hm. Tailgate and Cyclonus are ridiculously cute, still flopping between pale and red so I may actually just ship them human-style. mostly I want cyclonus slowly not becoming an asshole through tailgate's influence, don't care if it's fic or canon. I love the angry robot but he is kind of a dick sometimes. Which leads me to cyclonus♤whirl, because their constant threats of murder were entertaining even before the whole... 'tailgate-is-talking-to-other-people-what-do' conversation. Spoiler: cos it's fairly recent Just. Give me these two trusting each other to keep each other sharp, to say the painful things, to be the threat they need now that there's no war to provide a convenient target for all the paranoia. (...okay, someone should send them to Rung for that last bit actually. It's not healthy but I still like the dynamic.)

(Also what a great robot, she is quickly topping my faves list.) TAILGATE'S SHINY EYES AND LITTLE TEAR I CAN'T. PLEASE KISS HIM FOR FUCKS SAKE, WE ARE ALL DYING OF THE ROMANTIC TENSION. Fucking ouch. I'm really liking this courtroom drama. Ultra Magnus being all "really?? Fine, okay" at being appointed to Megatron's defense, Optimus being all 'it's just a graph' at the approval ratings, and I actually really like Starscream here? He's being a vindictive shit and I like it. And Megatron's bit about four million years of practice haha. I've got a hair appointment today, so I'm probably going to get a lot of reading done while my color processes. Wish me luck!
