Spoiler I swear if this ends with Ms Paint dating Jack Noir I will be angry. They have the same genetic code so they're interchangeable? Jack Noir happily murdered his way through two universes, Spades Slick just wanted to stab Lord English a whole lot! I still don't get why, narrative lyrics speaking, Spades' death was in any way earned. He was focused on Jack English and only really attacked the kids once THEY ATTACKED FIRST. And what was WITH that, it'd make more sense to me story wise if like, Karkat was there and convinced Spades to help them out! But no, he dies, for... trying to go and kill lord English? And shooting some people who were trying to stab him? Ugh.
Spoiler i think ms paint is just being ms paint? i personally like the idea that any version of slick/noir/straggler/slayer is gonna like ms paint. whether she reciprocates to any version is kinda ambiguous and i like that too.
Spoiler: update All I want out of the next update is a humorous jumpcut to one of the other carapaces. My personal favorite would be Slick walking out of the forest to see yet another alt, and him making eyes at Ms Paint to boot Tho im So Amused that all jacks seem to have a thing for pretty prospitians
Spoiler Yeah, I can see that any of him is going to like her. It's just... they only fought Slick because Vriska said they should. There was no real need for it! So to see Noir slip right into place where Slick left off is... awkward. I'm on team "Hey Terezi, you know that thing you did in Remem8er Me? Can you do that to get everyone the GO memories? Including Jack? Then I would feel less like all the things that have happened so far were wastes, and the whole "there is no true This Person" thing could be resolved by just adding multiple timelines' worth of memories together to let the ones we've seen develop still exist.
Spoiler I mean, I'd be ok with 'jack noir is predisposed to liking Ms paint across universes,' what I take issue with is if jack noir just replaces spades slick in this and it's OK because now it's like Ms paint didn't lose spades at all. That's cheap.
Spoiler Agreed. Others have pointed out that we did see a glimpse of Die's doll in Collide; if him or anyone else still has the Midnight Crew pins, that could be a way Slick could be revived.
