just had a tasty tasty meal of delivered Indian - chicken tikka masala, navratan korma, samosas, top-notch naan, and some damn tasty gulab jamun. my tummy is happy ^u^

 

Soooo... Elly Ameling told me that I have a beautiful voice and beautiful legato, and that she thinks I'll go far. Holy. Fucking. Shit.

I just beat Hyper Light Drifter and, wow.

Haven't got this much of a rush from beating a game in a long time. Absolutely amazing game start to finish. It's going on my all time favorites list for sure.

 

J brought an Easter lily home from church and it lives in our bedroom away from the cat. This means my bedroom smells gloriously of lilies. :D

 

There's something lovely about walking into a brewing flamewar and getting nothing but respect from both sides.

I am planning a backpacking trip for me, my brother, and my cousin! Is it weird that I have at least as much fun making the plans as actually going on the trip?

I had to replace my bus pass, which did not make me happy, but they knocked half the replacement fee off for me, which did.

 

There's a big ol' storm rolling in, and it was nice enough not to knock the power out while I was at work c: now I can sit on the porch and eat Chinese while watching the lightshow!

 

Called my brother Max and Cheese, and he responsed with "yes, Kat Food?" which just absolutely delighted me :D I've never had a food pun nickname!

 

Watching this dude watch a moth dry out it's wings was a delight. (it even made little squeaks near the end!! so cute)

 

Eye care place in Walmart refused to assist with glasses fix bc my glasses are "too worn" lenses "too thick" and the frames are plastic. So she says "I can try, but if I break it, it's your problem".
So instead I have rubber bands.
