@IvyLB a scenario: we pass each other on a narrow street. the sky is overcast and the world is a muted grey. i pay you no mind, except to absently note a splash of colour on the washed-out backdrop of the sidewalk. our paths cross, and as they do i am enveloped by a pocket of time that stretches on for too long and a silent breeze that sends fallen leaves swirling around like small whirlwinds. i feel compelled, suddenly, to glance over my shoulder. the street behind me is empty but for a large black bird that seems to stare at me with too-intelligent eyes. i nervously adjust my bag and turn back, walking perhaps a bit faster than i was before. i spend the rest of the day trying to shake a strange uneasiness and an inexplicable certainty that there is more to the world than i knew. i never walk down that street again.

It's a blue black that I absolutely love. And it still boggles my mind how much easier it is to dye black than it is to lift and color neon.

 

I finally managed to wear my giant horn headdress out! it's very heavy but super cool! (also my shirt says "In Memory Of When I Cared" it's a great shirt.)

@Ruevian: I think so! But the flip side apparently is that it doesn't last. I got my first white hair at eleven years old, the rest faded after my teenage years, and I'm now almost the exact opposite hair color
