Yeah. I have that happen a lot with mine. I've noticed if I don't reply to roleplaying threads for about 2 days, then I stop getting notifs to them until I post in them or like something again.
I am pretty sure that the way it works is if you haven't viewed the latest post in a thread it won't send you any more notifications for new posts? Though it'll still tell you likes/quotes/@s. I barely post in most of the threads I'm watching and I still get notifications as long as I am keeping up on them, so I don't think it's interaction.
If that's the case, "a while" must be a really short while =/ posted in the TF thread this morning, didn't get an alert for any of the three pages of following content. edit: not talking about only getting one alert, that function is useful. I just straight up don't get any alerts for the buggy threads. (Only on desktop for some reason, too... starting to think it may be an issue with the computer, not the site.)
Oh, hey, data point. I'm using Firefox, the outdated Linux version. I haven't gotten notifs from CDCF2 for at least a few hours. I have at least liked posts in there, and I am pretty sure I saw the most current reply as of a few hours ago. I just checked in the thread, will edit this comment with update if I get a notif in the near future.
This has happened to me too, with various threads including CDCF and the TF thread. I'm also using Chrome and Windows 10.
also this has been happening for a while for me - like for months. I can't quite remember but I think it's been happening as long as I've been actively using kintsugi?
i've honestly not had the problem, i've been keeping an eye on it since people said something but i'm really not seeing it happen for me :T i dunno what's up with it doing the thing for others
chrome plus win7 it happens occasionally but not often enough for me to determine whether i just miss alerts or whether its something else?
i think it might have to do with number of posts missed? i notice i stop getting alerts for cdcf a lot faster than some of the slower threads. (edited for clarity)
Oh my god, I'm still having it happen. And I know I checked the thread the previous time I got a notif, so I was up-to-date on the threads. Grrr.
So I can't seem to upload files anymore. When I chose a file, it shows the name for a second and then nothing as if I hadn't selected a file at all
sometimes that happens to me too. the files show up if i click more options. they're there you just can't see them.
