Can I have an option to have the game pick one out for me based on like a personality quiz or something. The classpects being tailored for each individual bit is honestly why I like the things.

the teachers havent read it, and assign only like, a month for time to read it
the whole class does nothing except read homestuck, they start breathing homestuck, it is their lives.
one of them goes to a family reunion, but they need to finish it in time for class, so they sit in a corner and read it, their grandparent peeks over their shoulder and laughs and starts telling them about when they were watching the crashes of sites because of cascade, and talking about the pauses, and writing down links of some long fics that they loved

Or they're assigned the abridged edition of Homestuck and their grandparents start complaining that the abridged version leaves out so much important detail

I genuinely do think Homestuck is gonna end up being considered classic literature in some form or another.

The abridged version skips the intermission.
Alternatively: the abridged version starts at Act 5

It's actually pretty intriguing in terms of how it works and could be great at teaching certain concepts.

I want there to be, like, classes based around analyzing Homestuck and shit. I would take those classes.

It's a thing that's happened before. And we're getting more classes for more modern works over time too. So.

    WE CAN HOPE.

Even if we need to start out like as a college club about analyzing it or one of those less rigorous student run class things.

The abridged version condenses the first four acts into one act and leaves out the crucial bathtub scene

I'd honestly be surprised if, 10 years from now, there weren't at least one or two universities offering Homestuck-focused classes. There are already classes about both internet fandom and webcomics scattered around here and there, right? And now that Homestuck is finally ending I'd bet the acafans who work as professors are gonna be all over that asap. honestly if i found out that a university near me had a homestuck class it would be enough to make me go back to school immediately, adhd be damned

Also I love how all the Act 7 predictions I've read in this thread seem about equally likely to actually happen. fuckin' Homestuck.

Honestly I'd like to teach a Homestuck course. It'd be really fun to have one for some linguistics based.

No, she's the muse of epic poetry, which is the genre that consists entirely of relating/praising the deeds of heroes. Clio is historical writing.

Fun fact: I was one of those people who skipped the Intermission. I thought it was like other webcomics where they do a silly non-canon arc or a guest week to take a break! My reaction to finding out otherwise was "Who the fuck introduces the main villain while the audience is in the bathroom?!"

I fully expect all future Homestuck professors to keep track of who skips class when it's time to cover Intermission and laugh

i actually skipped the intermission at first too, and immediately regretted it once i went back and actually read it. the midnight crew are my favorite characters, with the felt and snowman right after.

it's kinda especially funny now that i think about it, i was getting tired of the length and wanted to skip what i thought was unnecessary bits but by the time i got to kankri i was making a real attempt to read every word he said. i will not be fooled again, hussie.

Ikr, I always get sad when his dialogue just becomes unreadable blocks of text. I want to know about alien social justice dammit! I know what our shitty sjws are like, I want to see what the alien ones are fighting over dammit!

I also want a full, detailed explanation of leprechaun romance.
