Robots in Disguise and Ex-Rid are the same thing (unless we are talking about the cartoon). They just stopped calling it Robots in Disguise so most people call it EX-RID.
@Petra Robots in Disguise and exRiD/ex-RiD are the same comic, as far as anyone can tell. (I asked the same thing when I started reading RiD :'D) Prefix ex- keeps comic-RiD out of the cartoon tags, I think?
They changed the name to just 'the transformers' around issue 35, maybe because of the TV show by the same name, but just 'the transformers' isn't very descriptive, plus people were used to calling it by the old name, so it's the comic series formerly known as robots in disguise.
Yeah, but it looks like they still file the comics after the name change under that subgroup, so you should be able to navigate between the chapters with no problem.
Yeah, having exRID's official name just be 'The Transformers' is...nondescript. Pretty much anything to do with Transformers in general used that exact tag, so there has to be some way to differentiate it from the masses of more generalized TF content. Having tag homonyms is pretty bleh
Good. Cause I have no positive or negative opinion on Ratbat in specific yet, but calling a beastmode transformer an animal definitely crosses a line for me. Spoiler: MTMTE I was a lot more okay when Nautica did that because I know it was an honest mistake with Ravage, and I'm not sure what Caminus is like with beast mode cybertronians. This was absolutely deliberate on the speaker's part, and that's what's making me mad.
