I was sorta sad they never did anything with Sunstreaker and his art while on the Lost Light. And I kinda wish he'd stayed on and bonded with Ten.

But okay, I've said in a comment thread on ao3 that one of my friends had a mom who was hired to teach these two girls how to crochet. The plot twist is that the kids had severe ectrodactyly (may be a bit body horror-ish if you aren't prepared for it). So their mom wanted to be sure their kids knew they could do anything they wanted to, dexterity-wise, if they set their mind to it, so she did things like getting them lessons in high-dexterity crafts, like crochet. Also I've got this weird interest in prosthetics. Prosthetics engineering is like, my backup career plan, even if I haven't pursued it in any real way :P But one of the most basic types of hand prosthesis is a simple hook. Which seems a little weird, right? Why not at least get something a little more hand-shaped? But you can do a LOT with a hook if you set your mind to it, and I thiiiiiink it was especially post-wwi, there were a decent number of double-hook prosthetics out there (don't quote me on that). But for Whirl, I like the combination of one hand being down a couple fingers and one hand being gone altogether, with a simple hook prosthetic. Even minus half your fingers, I don't think that would necessarily hold someone back from doing that much crafty stuff if they really tried. When I'm doing yarn work, I definitely don't use all my fingers. But losing one hand entirely would be a BIG setback. And I like this combo, because I'm sure that if you try finding crafting workarounds for one usable hand and one hook, they're there, but it would be frustrating and hard, especially if you used to be really, really, really naturally good with your hands before the government took them away. So I enjoy that setup a lot, even if I haven't used it for anything beyond that one picture.
Does someone have Chaos? That's really the only bit of the IDW ongoing that I still would like to see that isn't on viewcomic.

See, I commented on one of the killer headcanon posts way back when about how I don't have to wonder if I'm a masochist, when I love it so much when people hurt me that way. It's reactions like this that mean I don't have to wonder if I'm a sadist either :3c But this is probably going to be pretty harmless. It'll be a nice jumping off point for cywhirl loving that isn't just 'I have reluctantly decided not to kill you and also Tailgate is happier when we are nice to each other.' Also, HOLY SHIT, depending how I swing this, I just realized it'll almost work for filling in that stupid 'historical roleplay' kink. Though t b h I think I might just start duplicating kinks as I get appropriate ideas, because inspiration is outstripping my fingers and it annoys the heck me when I have to struggle to fit an idea into a incomplete kink :P .............but in the realm of hurting people, I am considering doing something short and sad with a rotorstorm pov just because I really have not run out of rotorstorm emotions yet. Art will take me only so far and takes so much time, I need to make myself sad now.
Cywhirl trojan war shenanigans, are a go! :D It was actually double effective, because the business with Athena/Liege Maximo is a nice not-quite-parallel to Galvatron and Cyclonus and Kimia. I'm actually really pleased I was able to put these two things together like this. And don't worry, more megarod is definitely in the works! I've just been flailing around awkwardly without landing on the right emotion/spoon balance to properly turn out that one fic idea. Plus like every kink is absolutely fascinating to consider for them, so I've got lots of options to work with after that.
