Camp Half-Blood/Jupiter RP

okay so I'm not totally clear on what we're doing for the RP but I think we're rolling with the exchange program idea? wherein kids from Camp Jupiter are sent to Camp Half-Blood and vice versa. we should probably pick a camp to focus on unless we want to have two separate threads, one for the kids at Half-Blood and one for the kids at Jupiter. if we were to pick a camp to focus on, I'd suggest Half-Blood, because we seem to have more Greek than Roman demigods at the moment, and so we could then have the Roman demigods be part of the exchange.
beyond that, I feel like we should have more of a plot than just exchange happening, unless people feel that the exchange is enough.

Exchange is a good start, but I feel like at some point the kids should end up on a quest/road trip. Because, I mean, that is generally the plot.

 

yeah, that's kind of what I was thinking too...
but what should the quest be? how/when do they get the prophecy and how are they picked? because if it's going to come from the oracle then I think it has to be rhyming and all that and uh. I am not writing that. I can't rhyme for shit.

 

I cannot rhyme either. So, we may have to make a "Help Wanted" ad.
We can always go with a "GO FIND THING" one.
or a "GET RID OF THING" one.
As for "who gets prophecy" I'm imagining them all standing in a circle playing rock paper scissors for who has too XD

I can totes explain what Camp Jupiter is if you want, you needn't have read the books imo, it's a pretty simple concept to grasp

don't worry, I only read the first book of that series cause I hated it! (Idk, something about it rubbed me the wrong way. Generally I discontinuity that series entirely XD)

 

ooooh. Larkspur is an interesting one. Jessamine/Jasmine are pretty, so's Daphne, so I guess it depends whether you want her name to be more feminine and pretty or more unconventional?

so basically
the gods have two forms: Greek and Roman
Camp Half-Blood is where the kids of the gods in their Greek form go
Camp Jupiter is where the kids of the gods in their Roman form go.
and for ages, the Romans and Greeks have been separated because every single time they get together they fight and shit goes badly.
but then the gods needed them to band together and fix shit and so amnesia shenanigans happened and now the camps know about each other and are friends! and so in this RP, they'd be doing a non-amnesiac, voluntary exchange program type thing so that the camps can learn about each other, basically.

 

I also like Vervain, but I think I'm probs gonna go with Larkspur. (also, it can serve as a reference to a series of books I like, and that now I want her to be a fangirl of.) Now, she just needs a last name!
