@emythos "*soft gasp* cute! oh gosh, super cute!" <--- things i immediately and involuntarily said upon de-spoilering your post fake edit: involuntary *LOUD GASP* upon reaching the powder blue lipstick +B&W striped sweater selfie you are such a babe
I hath been inspired to post that one time I tried on the purple lipstick I got for Halloween one year and actually had fun with it. Spoiler Sorry I just can't take myself seriously.
Feeling really meh about appearance bc I hadn't realized just how bad my scars are now. My skin just doesn't heal from ANYTHING without scars, and i don't even know where to begin looking for makeup that'd work on my pale ass or anything that'd be flattering bc what is confidence. 8I; But despite now having 0 spoons to my name, husbean and I went by bus over 3 transfers to reach the walmart that wouldn't require my crippled ass to walk 45 minutes straight and die, and got a v short haircut that will be better and better as it grows in bc of how well she cut it. fun fact: not 3 minutes after posting, a pornbot or porn blog erased my comments and reblogged just these pics for some reason. Spoiler: Messy and bad lighting and exhausted but i love this haircut
@TheMockingCrows I mean you can see my scars from the accident pretty clearly in the ones I just posted. It's not all acne lol. Point is, you're not alone in your facial-scar-ness.
My acne scarring tends to happen on my shoulders. Shit sucks. Y'all are lovely though. All my recent selfies are selfies with ferrets. Spoiler: Ferocious fuzzerpillars
It's a Sephora one I got on sale a while back - I can't find a name anywhere on it, but it says R62 rouge cream on the side, if that helps!
I'm digging the color but the color isn't digging me. D: this is the first time I've used a dye that didnt actually ever SEAL. The lady who cut my hair, all this time after we dyed it, had her hands turn pink bc the dye just.. fell off. I'm prolly gonna go back to my darker wine color next time, with a brand I'm more familiar with.
@TheMockingCrows I had a similar experience with a similar color actually? admittedly I didn't get it done in a salon—my friend dyed it—but it was a professional-grade dye and everything, yet it still washed out really really fast. and like, left stains on my pillow and shit. it went from more or less the color you have to like light orange in the span of two or three weeks. and the orange was kinda horrible. anyway yeah I feel your ineffectual-dye pain.
Yeah, if we'd bleached prior to the dye it would already be 90% gone, and Nate's just as upset bc he tried so hard. My pillow is pink and I hate it. 8I; fistbumps for shitty dye experiences keeping us from intense color funtimes.
well I mean at least it was a nice color for like. two days. :P seriously though I really liked its short-lived intensity. warning for me desperately attempting to counteract dysphoria by being as femme as possible (spoiler: this was useless): Spoiler: what did I think I was doing tbh
it's the most stressful week in a while, but i am trying! Spoiler: well decorated in my own knitwear Spoiler: stressed but attempting outings? being captain america helps sometimes v skeptical about this "life" thing lipstick and some home/hearth time helps with the anxiety, it seems so does evening sunshine! Spoiler: bonus sister! @asynch makes everything in my life better :)
(quietly chimes "i do commissions" hmu via pm - those were actually two of my favorite projects to knit, too)
