they're all basically red but the hogwarts one was paleish so at least i found one i sorta liked. gdi i'm seriously shipping the highlights good idea bad idea characters. this is it for me this is the ship i die on.

 

Gallant keeps his quadrants well maintained, and does not intersect his relationships in a way where he can flip black for his matesprit or flip concupiscent for his moirail.

Goofus can't figure out which quadrant he wants Gallant in, resigning him to the roll of the Tragic Joke Character in the Romcom of Life.

 

It's probably been mentioned somewhere already, but. Zim♠Dib. Tiny ineffectual baby spadescrush go.

(Also I don't quite ship it, but I was able to use parts of Megamind to explain blackrom to a non-Homestuck friend via Megamind and Metroman's relationship, and the whole "winning isn't fun, I want the challenge back" facet they spent time developing for part of the movie.

...Megamind is probably a really weird troll romcom. "Wherein, upon his highblood kismesis's apparent death, a scienterrorist attempts to manufacture a replacement using his ex's genetic material[...]")

Edit: I just realized: both Megamind and Metroman fit the eight-letter adult title scheme. Perfect.

ETA: Reporter Chick is absolutely flushed for Megamind. That is most definitely romantic pity.

Buffee the Daywalker Slayer is hailed as the be-all, end-all of cinematic troll romance and I will fight anyone that disagrees.

 

Watched up to episode 11. Ships are currently Mabel<3<Pacifica which is perfect and good and Dipper<>/<3Pacifica. The Northwest getting all that Pine ass.

i just thought, it's been a while since I read the whole Circle of Magic series but uh, Rosethorn <3< Crane? I vaguely remember they had some kind of relationship back when they were Novices, and the whole rivalry and disagreeing over like, whether greenhouses are bad for plants? And I think Rosethorn mentioned about how they'd try to mix perfumes or something and challenge the other to figure out exactly what was in it? anyway, i think i ship it?

I'm playing Dragon Age II for the first time (extremely late to the party, I know), just hit act 3, and--forget my pet crackships, I have never seen anything so blatantly ashen as Hawke♣Meredith/Orsino. Just... damn.

 

Ok so my friend and I are replaying KHII via 2.5 and we started ironically shipping Hayner/Roxas/Seifer and then we started less ironically shipping it so. Red Hayner/Roxas, bitchy pale Seifer/Roxas, black Hayner/Roxas and then Roxas auspistizing between them. Also, red Pence/Olette and pale Olette/Hayner.

 

If I remember right, it's not even an ex-relationship. Rosethorn <3 Lark and Rosethorn <3< Crane are canon.

 

Okay so I'm watching Buffy again from the start, and why did I never notice she was pitch for Angel when they first met?

(Also Willow<>Xander is my pale OTP forever and always, okay XD)

 

I don't usually like real-people ships, doubly so when the people involved are bloggers (celebrities tend to be at least somewhat removed from their public personnas) but please read through the tag I hate docholligay: the blog on Jet Wolf's tumblr and tell me that is not classic blackrom.

Having just finished all routes of Hate Plus, *Hyun-ae <3< *Mute. Which is embarrassingly obvious, but hey, it's fun to think about. Especially since robot bodies allow for fun attachments and figuring out which ones make *Hyun-ae 'man' enough for *Mute hint hint wink wink

Gold<3< Silver. fucking duh. that shit is pretty much pure canon. Crystal steps in sometimes to auspitize.
Silver<>Blue likewise (blue as in the girl. thanks localizers)
Gold flushflirts with Blue as a roundabout way of blackflirting with Silver. Blue flirts back because she's kinda a shit like that.
I could also see a kind of low-key Blue<3<Green (post RGB arc)
Green<>Red too, maybe?
Diamond/Pearl/Platinum is the biggest pale OT3.
Everyone and their aunt wants to get into Red's pants black-ways. Bruno, Koga, Surge, Giovanni...
Red seems singularly uninterested.
Ruby and Sapphire are quadrantflipping red/black like a motherfucker. Also pretty much canon.
Crystal<>Emerald? Doesn't quite fit their interactions in canon, but seems like a plausible way to go post-battle frontier.
Ruby<>Wally. Shit's adorable, yo, and lord knows they both need one.
Yellow spades with anyone would be both adorable and terrifying, but there don't seem to be any blackrom possibilities for her.
