Spoiler: tiny mushroom don't look at these spoilers re: throwing Hannibal off a cliff: it's ok, will beat you to it God, I loved season one so much - I watched it all in a big rush while I was at school, since I started during the break between s1 and s2. Very difficult encountering shocking plot twists and then having to pause the episode and go to class. :P

Spoiler: Season 2 spoilers maybe? I'm now on Season 2 and Hannibal, friendo, murdering people and sending ears in the mail is not how you write a love note. Especially to the pERSON YOU FRAMED FOR MURDER YOU ARE A MESS, HANNIBAL. Can I pick Will up and carry him somewhere safe where he can cuddle his dogs and go fishing in peace please.
Hannibal's about-face from "gotta put will in prison" to "oh no... I miss will.. what am I gonna do now" is pretty great
Hannibal did not think this through. Also Hannibal said something like, "The killer is giving you a poem. Are you going to waste his love?" Or something like that to Will and I was just, "DID YOU JUST VERY INDIRECTLY TELL WILL THAT YOU LOVE HIM???"
I actually already know this spoiler, which is why I said that particular phrase =P That said, I have no idea what leads up to that event of the s3 finale, so!
Okay I'm on S3 and haven't finished it and Spoiler: S3 episode 7-ish spoilers when Hannibal turns himself in AND LOOKS AT WILL AND TELLS HIM HE WANTS WILL TO ALWAYS KNOW WHERE TO FIND HIM I was almost screaming because how extra can you fucking get JFC Sorry I just couldn't get over that.

@blue Exactly!!!!! Spoiler like I feel like Hannibal tried living without Will but nearly hurt himself from pining too hard and so gave up that terrible plan. The ship sailed itself before it became canon (Tumblr spoiled that for me).
