i've been trying to play it with a pal but we keep getting stuck in Dying Loops no matter how i set up the world. maybe joining a whole party would help.
Alright, let's do this thing. I threw a bunch of tweak mods, some extra crockpot recipes and extra things to craft and a cool archery mod on. I'm also considering a food rebalancing one and one that increases hunger over time so starving is more of a risk once you're established, but I thought i'd poll people first. Any modded characters or anything people want me to add?
Okay, got the thing set up, I think! The server is Welcome to Kintsugi, password is (all lowercase). I assume it'll prompt you if you need to install mods, but if not I think I can make a modpack with everything in. edited for future people: doesn't look like you have to install mods, the server itself should handle that
Pinging @Erica @roach @Les @Astrodynamicist @alchemicalheart Unfortunately, the thing only seems to show up online if I personally have it running in the background, which is obnoxious. There might be some clever way around that without paying some dedicated hosting website, like passing server save files around so multiple people can host, or asking seebs to host or whatever, but it'll do for now.
damn, i didn't notice any of these posts gtting made yesterday. im busy until like... wednesday? but maybe wednesday i could come along and play. that could be fun.
I'm not really familiar with how DST works, is this an open thing where people can wander in and out? Because I don't have a ton of free time or attention span but it sounds fun. Could I just drop in and hang out and chop some trees a couple times a week or is it more of a campaign sort of thing where everyone has to be online together?
little of column a, little of column b I've gotta be online, or at least running the thing in the background, but other than that people can drop in and out. The world pauses if nobody's there.
I would totally join a game but I didn't bring my laptop with me abroad, just my cintiq, which I don't want to clog up with game stuff soo. I cannot dont starve till mid summer

I play this with some people. Every time we play, we're getting a little bit better at surviving. Still haven't made it through the winter yet. I think Wickerbottom is my favorite but she can't sleep and that drains my sanity so I usually play as Wendy. It's a challenging game and I like it.
I'd love to play this with you guys, but my laptop isn't strong enough :F maybe when I upgrade (which is hopefully soon, because mine is undergoing slow structural degradation for some reason.)
! I... have to do the dishes and fold laundry. But after that I'll see if I can get on the server! :D maybe this will be enough motivation to make me actually do my chores pffff

Well world 1 was wiped by hound doomportal, but i'm gonna be poking around in the next world now if anyone wants to join me. Also, for the record, if people want to play and the server isn't up, feel free to ping me. I can have it in the background even if I'm doing something else.
