@Lib I think it's a "Young people don't read books" thing which is weird because I'm the "bookworm" in the family. I must be reading the wrong kinds of books, I guess. Also I'm pushing 30, so.

But the party is over and I am in my quiet home where I am allowed to not talk to as many people as I please.

aren't they the same thing as candy corn, just reshaped and colored? Still the grainy almost-sweet something that makes you think it's a candy but it's not and you want to slap the crap out of the person that put them in the candy dish?

I love Game Grumps but Arin repeatedly giving Dan just the worst advice throughout the Shadow of the Colossus playthrough is killing me.

 

Ex-friend who constantly talks about how the dreamcast/n64/ps1 age was the best and NO GOOD GAMES come out anymore except for some of the Silent Hill games they like keeps making posts about Nintendo not coming out with games. It's almost like none of the major consoles have new games coming out at an obscene rate! It's almost as if all those third party developers who used to release shit on consoles have moved to PC if they haven't gone bankrupt entirely! It's almost like Nintendo just released like three games in less than two months.

And this is the only fuckign company they do it with and it's like, I get it, you're mad because Animal Crossing isn't everything you dreamed of it being, but good fuckign christ I hate it when people go "haha [x] has no games" especially if it's in comparison to like, indie PC gaming.

 

I was gonna talk shit about your ex-friend liking any of the modern Silent Hill games but then I realised you said ps1 and what the heck there were so many good games for the ps2 it had an enormous library

I realise this isn't the point of your post but seriously what is wrong with your ex-friend

Also of all the consoles Nintendo is probably doing the best in terms of both quality and quantity for their releases, especially if you understandably discount the PC gaming market

 

They're bitter about people liking things they don't like and forever trapped in a mindset that if they can't afford something, they actually don't want it because it actually sucks. So, since they couldn't afford a PS2 and games other than the SH franchise they played on someone else's PS2, clearly all of it sucks and is shit and the only good video games and consoles are the ones they can afford.

They also do this with movies, books, cable shows they can't afford, and anything on the internet that doesn't fit their edgy aesthetic.

There's a reason why I just... never followed them back after they deleted and remade.
