Jack smiled and began walking back over to the others. "When are you free?" they asked Auden. "I can't wait to watch that show with you. Maybe kiss some more?" They raised their eyebrows slightly and looked at him.
"You're wonderful. I don't understand how I've never seen you before. Maybe I really do avoid people too much." Jack frowned. "Let me know if I'm being weird, okay?"
"Yeah! Same with me, kay?" ((signing off for the night, will be mostly nontalky until tomorrow, most like)) ((night))
"You're not weird. Well, no more than I am." Jack hugged Auden suddenly, meaning to let go after a moment but then not managing it. ((night!))
Adara grinned and poked back, then noticed Jack and Auden hugging. "Awwww, look at the two lovebirds," she said, just loud enough for both Jack and Auden to hear, with a smirk on her face.
Adara glared at him. "Yeah, well, I'm sure we will be at some point! Besides, I'm not so sure I'd be comfortable being lovey-dovey in front of the entire camp."
Adara sighed. ".....oh, relax, I doubt anyone actually noticed. I think I attracted more attention than you two." She winced as she remembered her earlier flight-of-joy-because-she-had-a-date-with-Lark. She never flew around other people. Because it attracted attention. And attention was terrible and awkward. She unconsciously shuffled her wings.
Adara groaned. "But I don't want to be noticed...they're probably staring because of the wings anyway," she mumbled. "Stupid wings."
"Your wings are great. Except when you're cutting holes for them in all the jackets I lend you. You know what, you are right. Stupid wings."
Adara giggled, and then pretended to be offended. "Hey! Only I can insult my wings. Rude." She stuck her tongue out at him. "Also, I'm cold."
"Really, Adara? Don't you have like forty jackets in your cabin?" Jack sighed. "Fine, here, take this one." They handed over the jacket they had been carrying.
"Well. I mean. Most of them are eternally lost," Adara replied, taking the jacket. "But there's like....twelve or so in the closet somewhere. Somewhere. But thanks!" She took out her knife and cut holes for her wings, then slipped on the jacket, carefully sliding her wings through the holes in it. "I will do my best to not lose this one."
"I'm going to break into your cabin and take them back so that I can give them to you when you're cold instead of having to buy so many fucking jackets, Adara," Jack said seriously. "And there's nothing you can do about it."
