i never got that impression; i think someone here (maybe you?) said it and i considered it for a bit but it just doesn't seem like it. i definitely would like a timeline.
Oh man, these shows are my jam. :D :D :D Tanis is intended to be more sci-fi / new weird, I think, but it successfully creeps me out more often than the Black Tapes. Tanis touches on older nightmare fuel that I've imprinted on like House of Leaves or Marble Hornets. Maybe it's just because my house looks out onto the freaking woods. Maybe it's the way Nic talks. But seriously, Spoiler: tanis season 1 spoilers "she turned to me, smiled, and offered me something to eat. It was her arm." I'm also disappointed by the lack of Strand/Reagan arguing in the Black Tapes fic I've found. Dr. Strand is kind of an abrasive asshole that rubs Alex wrong and sets off her steamroller stubbornness. They butt heads. I'm also a little sad about the lack of case fic. My favorite Black Tapes episode is probably a tie between 1.03 (upside-down faaaaace) and 2.03 because Spoiler: spoiler for black tapes 2.03 THAT ENDING. Nic telling Alex not to break into the house! the wall full of flies! the ceiling fan!
Yeah, their arguing is my favorite part of their relationship, dammit! (shakes fist at overarching fandom trend of making relationships between characters fluffily red) And case fic would be nice, too.

Would anyone be willing to do a story-so-far recap? I'd really like to be more into TBT than I am, but for some reason even though I've listened to all of it I'm not sure what the actual plot is?
IIIit is suprisingly difficult, so all I can do is link this and this if they might help out? For me it helps to be able to read stuff since it keeps in my mind easier than speech??

Yeah it took me like ten minutes before I realized I wasnt sure how to properly summarize all the plots and all the people and only then would I be able to go at the plot alex could you pls have your issues in less hypotheticals like nic thanks
