I got Lightning from the FF magic stone machine. Pretty decent. But god damn, I haven't even managed to be the Master level of either of the dungeons yet :(
Freaking Orphan. They dropped me to 1hp, then they hammered me the next turn. My big healer was still on cooldown. >:(
bring three healers i'm not even kidding my current team is pretty much all "healers who also happen to have decent ATK"
this is why you can have multiple teams anyhow the one i used to beat hera descended is: Roaming National Founder Okuninushi, Shadow Lord (from the FF collar), Purple Sky Fruit Grape Dragon, Amaterasu Ohkami, Enchantress of the Sanctuary Siren. and a green odin friend leader three are healers, Okuninushi makes it a kinda spike team without any real effort, Siren has Menace, and Shadow Lord makes enemy DEF 0 for one turn. it took a while but it worked out just fine.
I'm going to try Holy Rights Mistress Echidna, Ruling Firestorm God Set, Blue Moon Sea Deity Isis, Savior Archangel Raphael, and Cruel Bleak Night Goddess Pandora. They're mostly Healers so Echidna's leader skill should help with HP and ATK, Isis and Raphael can heal directly, Pandora can make extra heal orbs in a pinch (or turn them to fire for Set's ability) and Echidna's delay skill has its uses. Only thing I'm not sure of yet is if I have a way to get past that one jerk with the really high DEF... I might bring a red Odin along for the poison damage.
just make sure you kill - i think it's hades? - before he can hit you. he's 90% of the reason i brought the green odin along
Let's see what I can say... I'm using Echidna as my leader, partly because she makes me regain a little health every time I combine orbs, and partly because she multiplies the HP of all my healer-type monsters by 2.5. So I'm using her, I usually have 40,000-60,000 hp, depending on who I bring along for the friendleader. That gives me a good buffer against a lot of enemy attacks! Raphael's skill is to turn all orbs to healing orbs and void all damage I receive for two turns. His skill is really versatile for me! - If my HP is very low, I can just keep them healing orbs, and recover a decent chunk of health while giving myself 2 turns grace. - If I have a lot of HP and don't need healing? I can combine that with Set's to turn all the orbs to *fire* orbs. That lets me do a big burst of fire damage, especially if my leader and my friend's leader multiply my ATK. I just gave it a shot with a green Odin along, and the 1.5x ATK is too freaking small. I need to bring somebody with a multiplier. And Isis' healing is too small, so I think I'm gonna dump her for Noah (so I have that massive blue attack available). If that doesn't do it.... maybe I'll swap Pandora for Destruction Palm Mechanical Star God Castor, since I'm very fond of that skill. Especially with the various jammers and poison orbs a few of these bosses have. It'll drop my health a fair bit to lose two of the healers, but... y'know...
i updated my padherder it's not all the monsters i have, but it's all the ones i'm using or considering using plus a handful more
oh my god now i know why the heck i keep bringing a red odin with me into the freaking ff2 dungeon SHADOW LORD HOW CAN I EVER DO ENOUGH DAMAGE TO MURDER YOU ARGGGGHHHH eta wait, one of my bigger combos managed to do 1821 damage. looks like defence of 100k or something? god. Eta2- okay. Isis and Squall do lots of damage, but not enough health. Noah and Squall let me get to Kefka in Master...
i haven't figured it out yet, but apparently you need 'tans' as a component? i guess it's a way to use up unwanted egg machine pulls, now that the big spenders have all the point-buy monsters. imo the point-buy monsters are not that great, and i always get suckered by the fandom machines cuz i want a particular character, so this is kinda cool.
I FINALLY GOT THIS, months of pining, and a stream I frequent has some absurdly high level PAD players who told me how to get the APK installed. Downside: I have no idea wtf I'm doing, but apparently I've been really lucky with my first 3 rolls (told to save the rest of my stones for a godfest) and I managed to get to the Giant's Gate normal dungeon before getting a game over. I have no idea how evolution and powering up works, so I've just been hording monsters. I also accidentally sold my starter.
Evolution won't be relevant until you get one of your main fighty guys to max level. Power-up fusions are how you level up your monsters. Basically you feed monsters you don't want to another monster pass on its exp points. It's most effective when they're both the same color. There are monsters specifically meant to be used in powering-up, like metal dragons and TAMADRA.
I lost all my progress when my phone went kaput back in the summer... but man, nothing like a good audiobook or podcast while playing. I got pretty far (maybe?) but got stuck on... oh, can't even remember now. Dang. There was also a similar game that had cards with RPG-like classes on them that you could combine in fun ways, level up, etc. Can't remember what it was called now... and I think that progress got lost when the old tablet got reformatted or something. Sigh! Stupid mobile games.
