@Neon Katt @BlackholeKG http://www.seebs.net/minecraft.html here's the thing! I thought @chaoticArbiter might already be on it. But basically download and run the launcher and then poke @seebs to be whitelisted on the server
OKAY! I will tell Cedar. We all use their Minecraft account anyway, we just run different worlds, so Cedar can do....all that stuff you just said we need to do to be added to the server.
Also HEY y'all have a hypersexuality thread???? DO YOU THINK CEDAR WOULD MIND IF I POSTED THERE I mean technically this is my account right?
.....there is a reason I like never fucking front. That reason is that I am like the literal opposite of Cedar, and cannot fake being Cedar!
Yep! In fact, if I get tired, but I never do, I can switch with anyone else at will! Except Cedar. Cedar comes back when Cedar is ready, and cannot be pushed into front until they are ready!
Well, it's whoever wants to front + whoever is needed to front. Basically: if we're going to have to pretend to be Cedar a LOT, then we pick someone who's good at that, like Yang or Kanaya! If we don't have to pretend to be Cedar or only have to pretend minimally and can kinda just hide out in Cedar's room for the most part, then whoever wants to front and hasn't fronted in a while gets to front! Usually, what happens is this: Cedar can't front, so they stop fronting, and someone (anyone) gets shoved to front! From there, we pick who's going to spend the rest of the time Cedar's gone fronting and switch out if necessary!
It's a good thing you guys are pretty cooperative with Cedar then! Can y'all actually push Cedar or each other to the back? And how does the co-fronting thing work?
Yes, yes it is. And yes, yes we can! If I totally felt like fronting I could 1005% kick Cedar out of front! Or anyone could kick me out of front! Co-fronting is....hard to explain, but I will attempt! So, you know of headspace! There is also what I call 'frontspace'. It is outside of headspace, sort of? And while you're in it, you can't be in headspace and you can't talk to people who are there! And two or more people can hang out in frontspace together, and usually one person controls the body, while the other watches and occasionally takes control, to write or talk! The best of way of describing it is like....a control room, just outside of headspace, and there's a PA system in the frontspace that goes to headspace, so if you need someone else to take over fronting, or to come front with you, then you call for them over the PA! And if someone else wants to front or cofront, they walk into frontspace and tell you they want to front, and you can leave or co-front with them! Kicking someone out of frontspace is pretty much the equivalent of drop-kicking them into headspace! Of course, this is all metaphorical--frontspace is just being physically present in the body and not being in headspace, and if you talk, people in headspace hear you, but you can't hear them! If someone else forces their way into frontspace, forces them being physically present in the body, you get kicked out, but if someone else just comes and joins you in frontspace, they basically watch while you control things!
That's a pretty good explanation to me! When you first formed, what was that like? Were you aware of being an alter? (apparently today i can brain questions good. you don't have to answer any if you dont want to)
You can ask whatever you want, I have no sense of 'too much' or 'discomfort' or whatever else. As for when I first formed, I was not aware of being an 'alter', I knew I was in someone else's head, but I didn't know why until someone else explained it to me! And when I first formed, it was....disorienting, because I just kind of suddenly came into being! I had no memories, no idea what was going on, or where I was! I knew my name, but that was about it!
Yikes, that sounds terrifying. How did you learn about Cedar and who they are? Also what's the headspace like for you?
Well, mostly the other alters told me, but also I got to know them through paying attention to them and what they do and say and stuff! Headspace is just a big open field with trees around it, if that's what you're asking? It's pretty much the same space for each alter, as far as I know!
That makes me think of the field on Termina's moon from Majora's Mask, though I guess with more trees. Some sort of 'hub.'
Oh so its not just me then Majora's Mask is an old video game in the Legend of Zelda series, Termina is the world in it and the moon is fucking weird. Also the plot of the game is that the moon is going to crash into the world in three days because of a guy with a cursed mask. Near the end of the game, you go into(?) the moon and it looks like this.
