Imagine a guardians of the galaxy style movie based on mtmte? The first movie could jam two of their more straightforward adventures together. Maybe the Titan brain spelunking adventure? That could be very cinematic. Then it ends with a teaser of overlord in the hull. Imagine a transformers movie with decent humor?
Even then, I'm not sure if a cartoon would properly pull a lot of this stuff. You'd have to run an exRID cartoon as well, especially for the Dark Cyberton arc and the reason for Megs being on the ship. Season 1 might work as a standalone cartoon, but everything after intertwines with exRID enough that it can be really confusing without it.
Okay, survey: What's your headcanon voice for Brainstorm's various bits of tech? For instance, whose voice says "Hooray! You scored a perfect hit!" Or his Early Early Warning System? I imagine it's a high-pitched, childish voice that sounds nothing like Brainstorm and is cheery to the point of being slightly condescending.
I picture it as that one overly chipper woman's voice that shows up in the narration of kids' games and like, shows for toddlers. The one that narrates like "How many balloons are on the screen? One... Two... Three... Yay!!!!"
I told myself I want going to let myself fall into this pit I have two scrappers, and I am STILL missing a shiny wheeljack and mirage :( and since last photo, I realized that the accessories in the boxes included such noncritical items as oh, swoop's wings, oops. Also, literally as I was leaving the store with two blind boxes, I realized there was a 1/6 chance of getting the same robot repeated within that purchase... which then happened. BUT one is going to live at home and one at work. Alsoooooo scrapper DEFINITELY has an AUDIO BUTTON. I'M STOKED. I'll probably poke around online to see if I can round out the collection without more stacked statistics working against me. Even apart from wanting my faves, I LOVE the way these toys feel in my hands, omg. In the little toys, some of them have screwy paint and one or two are kinda dirty, which is a shame. Including ultra magnus and ratchet :/ On the other hand, I DID pay like... eighty cents per toy? And original flavor ratchet is missing an arm, but he's ugly, so it's okay. I'll probably throw away most of the bayverse ones and some of the original series too. Also, that sentinel prime's face is fucking horrifying, why was this design decision made???
Also, today I went on a quest for Weird Porn, and intended to just poke at this intro to this forced breeding fic (watch all the warnings), but then... I accidentally the whole thing. I skimmed a lot of the non-Starscream bits, admittedly. Kind of frustrating, because I meant to do productive things today, and 'today' is rapidly drawing to a close. Some of the characterization isn't my faaaaaavorite, but the premise is deliciously fucked up, and I love how Starscream was written. Kinda nudges me towards writing some Starscream/Optimus of my own, because this was like someone just barely missing scratching my itch for that ship, and I'm having trouble vocalizing the things I would have done different ://// Well, I'd do it as pitchrom, for one thing, but I think I'm weirdly picky about how people write Optimus in a way I can't properly articulate :P
