poor kiddos. erskin's had six-seven years of being the only thing standing between everyone he cares about and certain doom, and it has got to be wildly frustrating for bel to watch him keep acting like it when bel would do so much better.

 

okay so, it's not pale rape to calm someone down against their will, or protect them against their will, even against their express wishes. the whole social construction of pale romance centers on that coercion: that you know what's better for someone than they do, and you're gonna fucking give it to them. like, a friend would stand back and let their buddy kickflip off a roof because they said hey fuck off, this is gonna be cool. a moirail would grab them by the ear and haul them back inside. a friend would hold your flower while you went to beat someone up, a moirail might just push you over and sit on your head. i'm sure bel has definitely wanted to do a whole lot of stuff that seemed like a really good idea that he was gonna do with a perfectly level head and it was going to all turn out just fine— and pancho was like 'nope. nnnnope. sit back down. nope.'

anyway i'm just thinking out loud about pale cuddle drugs, and how they'd be viewed socially. and how jethro would feel about erskin getting high as shit around a bunch of strangers and/or whitey.

i think taking advantage of a troll who's zoned out would be considered more of a violation than tranquing them? as in hurting them or stealing their secrets.

Nice! So this is the next night or so? Is bel still sticking close? Is he going to get sucked into clown pile too or be designated driver?

 

I just thought: erskins stubborn as shit, you know? Hes gonna drag the argument out to the next night for sure. And what he will do is call galley in front of bel and have galley collate every securyvid clip of Ironfist crunching erskin's crew and send it to bel's phone.

Bel can be like 'ok thanks now i can study how he fights' tho, because erskin is terrible at knowing what gets him to cooperate and threat of stupid painful death isnt it >:D

 

Haha THAT will probably put the pitch spark back in the rivalry. Erskin will be at him like a momma cat with a kitten who wont stay in the fucking basket. For his part, he knows how much he can take, and doesn't want anyone else taking those hits, and isnt used to durable competent help, and also takes bel countering his orders as a direct insult. He knows hes not as smart as bel but still thinks he has a better grasp of the situation.

There are gonna be a lot of fights, huh?

Also should i be playing only the clowns in the casino? I thought id be playing erskin coming in with them.

 

Also how do you think galley would be taking all this? My guess is he's way happier to see erskin get mauled than bel.

 

Can erskin scrape him off by deputizinv him to go do more murders?
