Things that are currently annoying you

having a self-employed work schedule that is the polar opposite of the people who take up your time is NOT HELPFUL.

 

Damnit, sibling, I just bought a new fucking showerhead, and your habit of torquing on it so hard has broken it in less than a year.

I don't have the goddamned exfun for this. I've been doing all the housework while he's in finals mode, I'm fucking fried.

(I'm fine, I just swear a lot when I'm grumpy.)

 

i want something to snack on. i have no spoons to make anything. i have no spoons to figure out what mouthfeel i want. i just want something to snack on while i watch youtube.

 

I am currently annoyed by the seeming lack of mature content on Wattpad. I want stories that aren't about teenagers, dammit!

 

I've been looking forward to playing DA:I for months, but I made myself wait until my exams were done. Now I find it won't run properly on my computer, even on the lowest possible graphics settings. :(

 

Commercial game devs who don't use strings tables. I mean, okay, I get that your budget is not enough for a localization team, but can we maybe not have the NPC's name spelled one way in the quest title, another way in the quest text, and a third way on the actual NPC?

 

The cram school I grade papers for is doing this really cool event: students gather to write an essay on a given theme, but all the graders are there as well and can give real-time answers to their questions and help them write. There's gonna be four of those, and I was already a bit annoyed because they put me up for the July one even though I said I wouldn't be available for that (it's on my birthday weekend; I wanted to take a trip).

I was a bit more annoyed because they put me in two separate locations, an hour and a half apart by bus, with a half hour window between them. Even though they provided a taxi for going from one to the next, going to the first one (which is really far from my house, the other one being really close) would be my responsibility.

Then a cool thing happened. On Wednesday, the woman who's organizing the event called me, said there was a mix-up and I only needed to go to the second lication, the one close to my house, at 10:30. Great! I have an infection, I can use the extra sleep.

Today, at 9, guess who called.

A secretary from the 1st location asking me if I would be able to make it.

I'm at the second location now, half an hour early and so annoyed. I am so mad. I am so mad. I hope someone explains to me what exactly is going on. And I also want them to apologize and give me a break on my fucking birthday.

 

Tiny scratch in my throat last night has turned into a full-blown cold this morning.

 

My grandmother just insinuated that if we had not sent troops into the middle east "we would be seeing tanks roll past our windows"

My mom took photos of me without my permission while I was upset, then wouldn't delete them until I looked at them for like a minute each and I'm really upset about this.

 

@Bel Capricorn: that sounds rather abusive -- were you supposed to "see how you get when you're upset!" or something?

 

I'm usually very chill to be at work, but today I'm just itching to get home already. Seriously. All I want in my life right now is just to go home, go to the gym and start drawing on my gorgeous new sketchbook. And not only do I not get to do that for another hour and a half, I'm also on receptionist duty because the receptionist had a doctor's appointment. So I can't wear my headphones or just draw at work, which I sometimes would.

AUGH. this is not working. I have been trying to switch my work schedule from 12-5 ish to 15/16-20/21. it is NOT WORKING. it clashes horribly with Needing Food, and also with EVERYONE ELSE'S SCHEDULE. except J works 15-24, and it is incredibly difficult for me to work while he is in the apartment. I have been able to get a maximum of 2.5 hours of work done in the evening. I need 4-5 in order to get this project done in anywhere resembling the time allotted. can't work past 21 as it's noise-making and I get too anxious that I'm bothering other apartment denizens. (they probably can't even hear me. but I'm not fucking with an Anxiety Thing on top of a Schedule Thing.)

I'm gonna try to split-shift it. give J 2.5 hours of solid gaming with his Fractured Space guild and I will ignore him and work. then once he leaves I will do another 2.5 hours during the evening. gonna try 11-13.30 and 17-19.30.

I am super frustrated by my inability to draw quickly. Been working on this picture for probably 2 hours now (it's just a basic picture of a pokemon) and I am... about 1/4 of the way through doing the lineart. How do people art quickly, argh ;3;
