Well jeeze I was gonna listen in order but when I saw the trackart for Lillith In Starlight, obviously I had to skip ahead, and wow. Wow. I used to loop Darling Kanaya over and over, it made me feel so comfortable... Rosemary made me feel so damn comfortable. This song is a gift. This album is a gift. That little violin riff of Darling Kanaya aaaaaaaaaaa

i could say the same about feel (alive). it scared the crap outta me. i think my fave so far is THIS pumpkin, it makes me feel like i got more closure from the comic's end than i did.
Skaian Happy Flight sounds like it came from FFXII! I can imagine that being the background music walking through some area on the outskirts of a city, or some sunny mountainous area... eta SOLAR VOYAGE OH MAN the way it's blending the sounds of previous songs I adore, and they're meshing pretty damn well
Just bought the album as a treat to myself for the day/week/month I've had. I'm flipping out about this album--all the callbacks, the remixing, the relooking, the sheer high octane GOOD VIBES from people who love the material, know the material, and want to honor it. I completely agree--to be serious for a moment, Rose and Kanaya's relationship was a big help for me. Seeing the healthy, helpful relationship they built up as two scared young women, presented as a normal, good, productive lesbian relationship--Kanaya's painful but resounding "NO" to Rose asking if she was going to break up with Rose after she started struggling with alchoholism. Wow. Gave me a lot of hope. And the track's just so good. Really brings me back, in a good way. I'm just going to snuggle with in my Hero of Light shirt and listen to that *u* This this thiiiiis. Ruins and Flare are two of my favorite HS tracks, I listen to both a lot, especially Flare, so I was delighted they were given their due. guh, ym jaw was on the floor on the first playthrough.
finally listening to vol. 10 and the first thing I notice is that they fixed the Latin pronunciation from Song of Skaia do you have any idea how much that drove me nuts I am a terrible person but in other news holy shit so good.
