@whimsicalobservant so, it's not me, it's the language? :D that's reassuring. i mean, i can't be sure unless i try french again or try a different language.

anyway, it really gets to me sometimes and tumblr doesn't help at all. like, no, people, me being monolingual (and thus preferring things to be in the one language i know or google translating stuff that's not) is no reflection on what i think of your languages. (it's not really something i mention, though. i'm not the "this is america (well, canada), so you should speak english" asshole, though my possibly brainweird-influenced monolingualism makes it really tempting sometimes. but as i said, that part of me is an asshole and i refuse to submit anyone to it, haha.)

also, tumblr, i'm not dumber than you are just 'cause i can't speak multiple languages. it just isn't something i'm good at. there are other things that i am good at, which aren't that, so don't go being superior at me.

@Kaylotta Cody will definitely get cookies when there is NOT a hostile incursion going on.
Also I´m afraind Cody just doesn´t do undies, because well, tail. But then Cody also isn´t very acrobatic so it´s unlikely anyone will see that lack of undies. Also fur.

@unknownanonymous it's definitely the language. if you're looking for nice languages to learn, maybe grab some films or music in different languages and see what appeals to your ears. (what appeals to mine the most is currently finnish which.... is hella complicated. fuck. xxD)

@IvyLB not sure i can fold the bags in the skirt accordingly. because, you know, filled with all kinda stuff. i'm amazed kite can sit in that skirt. maybe it got towels and hankies in the backpockets....

Do you make sweaters? Because RAINBOW SPARKLE sweaters would be a thing I would be interested in.
@Kaylotta someday they will be eaten. just not today.

The Greek letters are a placeholder, so their "common names" can be whatever anyone wants. We have ζ - Plenet, ε - Midgard, and so on.

I'd suppose on the whole Magic/Sufficiently Advanced Technology issue, that in this 'verse magic and technology coexist in a way that works differently depending on the civilisation. So the Ancient Aliens who built their empire through the Kintsystem grew their magic and technology together in some sort of complicated and now-lost art, but the current galactic civilisation still has a job for anything from hat-wearing wizards to technologically-minded mages building enchanted computers. Some of the races in the Galactic Coalition habitually use spaceships driven by alchemic fire or, at the more absurd end, build their starships upon the backs of aetheric dragons.

@jacktrash me too, haha. i normally wear just pants, a shirt, and a hoodie. nothing really fancy or fashionable, really. which is beginning to feel kinda... yeah, underdressed. or like, "oh, why don't i care enough about this thing? everyone else does." you know...

of course, my kintsugisona could wear stuff with more flair or whatever but... i haven't thought about it yet. since kintsugisona is me, though, i can't really imagine it wearing anything i find particularly uncomfortable. i have limits when it comes to idealizing my 'sonas, personally.

@whimsicalobservant eh, some people like french, so i could be that i just fail at learning languages.
and thanks for the suggestion! :D

    Yes, decorate the sentient fractal.
Also @IvyLB I almost fear to ask but does it come in black?

Also, there´s nothing wrong with just being comfy instead of dressing up. So like, our dressing up is not meant to judge your comfyness, kay? You just wear what you like.

Ivy is definitly capable of sewing more *shivers* everyday stuff like hoodies and t shirts and jeans and stuff.
also @jacktrash rainbow glitter pirate headscarf is definitly possible. headscarfs are super basic to sew since they are basically cut fabric, hem fabric and that's it. I know this because my red cap scarf is washer dyed linen I hemmed myself. It really easy to do.
@littlemissCodeless of course it comes in black. what kind of responsible clothier would I be if it didn't come in black
it comes in black, white, brown, red, blue, green, rainbowsparkles and nanotech-enhanced-adjustable
with the last being a programmable fabric that can change color on command but it's not quite reliable and may randomly do the colorchange thing. Also its hackable so whoever wants to have everyone else run around with rude jokes on their clothes there is that?

@whimsicalobservant Finnish pisses me off the most of possibly any language, and therefore I am going to learn it someday.

    @IvyLB programmable? awesome! :D
that'll certainly help with being fashionable in comfortable clothes. and i'd finally be able to have a norm the genie-themed shirt/hoodie/whatever-would-look-best (those are one of the various things that just Don't Exist). also... cosplaying... i bet that'd make cosplaying easier.

What about a drape-y red maxi skirt that isn't so long that it gets tripped over?

@Kaylotta You definitely sound Canadian! I don't think I sound Canadian, but I think to some people I sound like a Canadian who's lived in Australia long enough to develop an accent. A British girl at my last job got really excited when she met me because she thought that she wasn't the only international worker at the shop. Alas, I am just a boring Australian. The last two psychologists I've seen have chalked by accent down to the "autistic people sometimes have weird voices" thing.

Can sentient mushrooms wear skirts? I love me some maxi skirts.
