I thought I was... Agreeing with Karl Marx. An Earth philosopher who expressed extremely similar sentiments. I'd never heard Megatron's early writing before. It wasn't exactly required reading at the Academy.

I think I need to go lie down for a little while.

 

Reminder: People who do bad things can have good ideas, intentions. Agreeing with select portions of personal philosophy is not endorsing their actions.

I am merely educating myself on the early lives of Megatron and Optimus Prime so I can better understand the war, era by era. It is a long project.

 

Does Optimus Prime have early writings, or a reliable biography? I haven't been able to find anything. Distressing. Very distressing. Anxious.

From what I know I think he was... a police officer before the war? You want to search for "Orion Pax" not Optimus Prime for his early life. I'm not sure he has written anything.

While I agree with this on principle, I'm finding it... rather difficult to apply it in regards to someone I've seen personally tear apart a good friend.

Prime wasn't much of a writer, more of a speechmaker. I'll see if I can find you some early recordings, or point you to the Autobot forums that have them. A little later.

But yes, his biographies tend to be fictionalized for drama at best, sheer propaganda at worst.

Suggestion: no need to follow up Megatron's early writing anytime soon. War over, but emotional wounds fresh. It will still exist in a few decades, or centuries. Emotional health, priority.
