Well, then there were the clans that exploited glitches,
and got themselves to nearly a million kills in just a few hours.
It pissed a lot of people off because they got to keep their score,
even though they cheated.

It was a huge mess, especially on my end as an official
player-helper and global chat moderator.
I had my hands full with angry, salty people.

Apparently being a hypermobile cyborg ninja badass is everything I want in a video game.

I picked Mag with a bow, kunai, and katana. I'm Full Genji and I'm unstoppable.

I'm steadily getting the hang of the mechanics. Looking forward to impulsively buying every weapon and frame blueprint I see (apparently there's a repeating crossbow and I want that)

So what am I supposed to be doing?? Do I just hit the flashing blue mission points or??

I am going to be playing this game a lot

 

Basically you unlock new missions by doing new missions and collect stuff. And along the way you pick up sweet new weapons and frames. I think the way it works now is, each world in sequence is locked behind a relay junction, which is a short mission which is unlocked by doing some miscellaneous things like killing x enemies on y planet and killing a local boss. This'll give you blueprints and quests.

 

Yeah, the Junctions are a new thing.
Simply clear a path from the starting node to the Junction,
and work on filling the Junction requirements along the way!!

Sent friend requests to Telluric and Mentarnes! I'm Ossiphage! Dang, I need more friends. I am terrible at engaging with other people in games. Even when I get matched with cool, competent players in a squad I tend to just go "Hey, thanks for the run!!" and leaving. :I

I also need to man up and find a clan, at least to temporarily mooch research off of. I really, really, really want an Attica. Anybody know a cool clan?

There was an Alert yesterday that gave an Argon Crystal, so I'm just a few Nano Spores away from an Incubator Power Core, but I'm also like one planet, a boss fight, and an entire quest away from anywhere that drops Nano Spores!! Heck!! This Argon Crystal is going to decay and I'll have done nothing with it. :C

Yesterday I went up against the Raptors, and they kicked my ass. Even with the Braton, my current most powerful weapon, I was doing peanuts of damage to them even with a Magnetize bubble. Then I started getting matched with squaddies that would blow up a Raptor in two shots. Now I'm only short the blueprints for the chassis and I'll be able to build Nova!

I've been doing good with picking up new weapons as I get each to level 30. Right now I'm really close to fully leveling a Gorgon and Kraken! (Apparently the Gorgon is a pretty rare weapon? Dang!!) I'm at mastery rank 4 already. B)

I've also been looking around for Warframe community discussions and whatnot, and turns out the Warframe reddit is exclusively composed of people profoundly dissatisfied with the game and constantly on the edge of burning out. I'm, uh, probably going to avoid the Warframe reddit. So I'm just going to be gushing about the game in this thread a lot!

I've also got my eyes on Saryn or Saryn Prime, Mesa, and Titania. (I'm kinda tempted to buy a frame with platinum? I bought my Dual Skanas with platinum, and a frame is probably a smarter buy than that. I've got like 800+ platinum thanks to a 75% discount coupon from a Daily Tribute.)

 

So The War Within happened. DE is seriously doing an amazing job with these cinematic quests.

The Queen reaching through the somatic link to attack them psychically was one of the only times Warframe has genuinely frightened me.

I don't...play Conclave at all. So I only know Teshin from Natah, in which he is mean to mom. So the betrayal fell a little flat for me. I did know what the Dax were tho and him being a spirit guide for my Tenno was neato.

I picked the "Nah, I'll do it" option for the Grineer Queen. Letting her rot would be pointlessly cruel (and also she'll take out her anger on others) and...I didn't want to order Teshin to do it? Like he'd have been fine with it (and it seems like he was kinda looking forward to finally murdering the last of the Orokin), but I don't want to be like the Orokin, I want to do it my own way. I'm actually surprised they let us permakill her? But I suppose her sister's still at large...

Speaking of the Orokin, I love how they just get worse and worse with every new thing we learn about them, and they started out pretty damned bad.

"Don't forget kiddo you owe me" what the fuck? What the fuck, did the Tennokids make a deal with the devil when they were in the Void? Is that what that morality system thingy is?

 

i should totally get back into this myself some :3 space ninja shootmans is good for relaxing if i don't let myself get too caught up in Must Accomplish Thing.

Titania is kind of weird, but being able to turn into tiny archwing and fly around the regular missions is just way too cool.
