/raises hand That would be me...I can't tell you how many trips I've made to the desert for sand. T_T I'm trying to make a silk touch pick to make working with glass easier, but I need diamonds to mine obsidian for alumite and...gahhh. I've done a ton of strip mining and haven't found a single diamond. I have a chest in the main tower basement of stuff I don't need if people want to check it out. I'll be dumping more stuff in it soon, i get carried away mining. I will always accept donations of various types of stone because I love going nuts with Chisel. (even plain cobble is great) Edit: Unless someone knows how to get obsidian in a tinker's construct smeltery without mining blocks of it first?
Not sure what changed, but it's been randomly showing up on me too. Sometimes I'm normal but most of the time my skin is all fucked up and my face is on top of my head. Same deal with Luka in those pics I linked, though it's hard to see. Also necks/legs disappearing. Shits weird.

Playing solo on a server defeats the entire point. I don't know how much weight my input carries given how infrequently I'm even on the server but: I'm not particularly attached to Flaxbeard's, so I wouldn't be particularly sad to see it go! Also, if there's ever another update pass, any chance we could look into updating Factorization and Immersive Engineering? Immersive Engineering has a whole lot of new features from the version we're running, and Factorization has done a lot of powergen retooling.
@Enzel if you've already thought of this and don't want to, sorry to bother you, but you could use clear glass from TiCo (smelt sand in the smeltery) which doesn't require silk touch to recover
Spoiler: for real though Whatever forest fire ripped through several giant trees including the large artificial one containing my windmill somehow dodged every valuable block. Bee analysis and honey processing? Untouched. Diamond chest? Untouched. Arborist's chest containing the few Forestry saplings I'd managed to breed so far? Untouched. It's a miracle. A frustrating miracle.
@Astrodynamicist no that's a v good idea, it's just that I'd already built a bunch of tunnels with regular glass bf I realized it XD and I wanted to switch it out to the Borderless Glass from Chisel so that it looks smoother. Actually, do you know if clear glass tiles visually without borders? Edit: put a bunch of stuff in my sharing chest including certus quartz, silicon, etc that i don't see myself using anytime soon if people want it. Does the Ender chest we're given at spawn work for everyone?
ah dang, i have run into the "crap i want to switch out these blocks now" blues myself, i know that feel they do. if there's an edge to the structure, you'll see that, otherwise it's seamless between blocks. i can grab a screenshot if you'd like to actually see it.
actually, i happen to have a screenshot w a clear glass structure already so i'll just post it Spoiler: big so mostly there are only seams that are the outside edges. on the inside, i have clear glass blocks separating the layers of water, and as you can see all that's visible of those is where the water isn't going plus those vertical seams where there's a corner going in hitting the water block cattycorner um, like this: GWWWG GGG as opposed to the next layer up or down which is GWWWG G G G G G GGG cuz the water needed to be further in by one block so while there's clear glass behind an inside corner of the structure, it won't show a seam, if that makes sense? hope this helps
Has anyone else got a bug where trying to milk a goat with a stack of buckets replaces the entire stack with 1 bucket of milk?

Same-ish as before, except with upgrades to a few mods mostly? I am thinking about killing a couple of mods, especially flaxbeard's steam power, because the smaller server I built without it runs a TON better and doesn't do the gradually-accumulating-lag thing. (But I dropped like 90 mods, and some of the others may be relevant.)
