(Personally, the name doesn't strike me as very Zelda-y until I think about it for a while but I didn't want to ruin the first post because IT LOOKS AMAZING AND I'M JUST, PLEASE I WANT IT NOW!!!!)

I've already seen people on my dash complaining about the mold being broken, or about the music and.

Iiiiiii don't care, give me my Zelda game, if it feels like home it will be home. The strict Zelda formula was getting a bit draggy for me even though I love the formula. This game makes me happy enough that I want to buy the damn console for the game. (and to play Splatoon someday, it looks fun :o but i digress )

At first I was thinking "haha uncharted got a LoZ remake" but now that I rewatch, you know what it reminds me of? Wind Waker. Twilight Princess. Ocarina of Time. Those big, expansive Zelda games where the world changed around you but you could still wander through it at your own leisure.

Needless to say, I am super hype.

I'm still waiting for the game where we can play as Zelda, like that clockwork empire game... but this looks neat. I'm a bit worried that it might try to do much without focusing on anything though?

I do want to complain about one thing, and that's inventory management. I know this is gonna sound dumb but PLEASE let there be individual slots for each inventory item, at least for later swords and tunics and shields and stuff!
A big part of what I love about Zelda is how it treats its collectathon aspect. Preset inventory slots are like the game telling you "hey! You can fill this thing in! You can collect stuff and put it here!" and I really hope they don't do away with that when you get the Master Sword or stuff like that. (The way they handled pouches, bottles, shields, etc. in Skyward Sword pissed me off a bit.)

Yeah I hate inventory management. Just give me a slot for everything and then let me collect whatever I pick up and put it in the appropriate slot.

i am "rips-shirt-off-and-screams-for-ten-hours" levels of hype abt new zelda guys, it is absurd. one of my first memories is sitting on the futon in my dad's office watching him play ocarina of time, that game is special to me. and i've loved the series since then but kinda... less and less with each new game.

i was super duper exciting for skyward sword and it ended up disappointing me a lot. i too am getting kinda sick of the formula.

but this game? oh my god oh my god oh my god (i'm totally gonna buy a wii u just to play it, i know this about me)

I don't know if I'd buy a Wii U if you don't have one, maybe wait for the NX, but just. THIS GAME.
(Also, one of my very early memories was sitting on my brother's bed watching him try to figure out a puzzle in the basement of the Deku Tree so I know exactly what you mean.)
