Just getting ready for dinner. My husband was worried earlier today about an animal he'd made friends with at one of our research sites and when he got there he found Homeworld Gems tearing the place apart. In other, and not unrelated, news, we have a thylacine now.

He does seem to like putting pink on people he knows can cause mayhem if they want to. He really should be making shanix with his skillset he is much more skillful than any of the professional painters I've met.

Some used to signify allegiance by wearing a well-displayed plate of color-- believe Nichrome still bears Decepticon purple sigil?-- but not required, war is over. And some of us are from places not involved in their war and don't care about their colors.

 

He likes it. I've never seen him as concentrated and serious as when he does fiddly little detail paints. I think he is very passionate about looks and painting.

I do in fact still wear the badge, yes. And I will keep my biolights and parts of my paintjob purple, because everything else would look... wrong.

Should probably mention not everyone here is communicating in Neocybex, some function of the space seems to translate well enough between whatever languages everyone knows. Unless people are being deliberately obtuse. Know Stanford wasn't speaking Neocybex earlier, and I've accidentally used Licentan a few times but it still renders properly??
