um! i like shockwave, cyclonus, cyclonus' emotional issues, WHIRL, skids, chromedome, rodimus, grimlock+scavengers, and rung a lot! cyclonus+tailgate needs to fucking happen already, i was rooting for skids+nautica in some capacity, chromedome+rewind. not many ships yet, gonna give myself some time to process things and figure out how the fuck to draw robots b4 i get hardcore shippy. stuff that's stuck w/ me: 'remember me as i was,' chromedome erasing past partners, the thing w/ the scavengers learning what Unsavory Dude Whose Name I Have Forgotten really does/wants w/ grimlock, skids learning abt his past, what got done to getaway, whirl and cyclonus' 'dude plz tell me u've stopped skirting around it and have finally tied the robot knot w/ tailgate' convo

Spoiler: screaming about tgwp It would have been so easy to have soundwave treat them like children. Its a little like that, but very much not at the same time. Even though soundwave is very much in charge, he respects their needs and wants. Despite having so much control over them, he treats them like capable adults. I'll definitely look you up if i want to talk more, i think its fascinating, but im only on chapter 8 or 9 Taking weird and unusal power dynamics and just turning it into a parent/child relationship is my pet peeve (ugly unwanted troll annoys the crap out of me for this reason). I thought that he would slowly learn how to feel emotions as the story went on, and that would be fine., But it turns out that he's desperately fucking tramatized and coping badly.
