I'm really not "good." I'm stubborn, and rather inclined to, when presented with a rock (gang members mad we stole something from them on an earlier job - it was just business, guys, no need to blackmail us into another job) and a hard place (a verrrry angry and overprotective and entirely too sentient building AI that would kill us if we tried to complete said job), I'm mostly likely to say "fuck all of you" and pick the option that ends better than the shitty ones presented to me. Which just translates to me being arrogant enough to think I can arrange the world the way I'd prefer it.

Absolutely no offense taken. I went from being chief resident at a prestigious hospital to a closet of an apartment in Roselawn and hiring out as team medic on a crew. I literally did not know how to wash my own dishes - Zale taught me that.

I learned a great number of things. Turns out I have a flair for: ziplines, short-term cons, distracting assassins, and convincing the local populations to not only be friendly but helpful. Never really got the hang of completing a whole job stealthily, though. Eventually Phoenix gave up assigning us those ones.

I have done a phenomenal number of stupid things for a smart person. I think this goes back to the thing where you only know about the parts of me you're inclined to pay attention to, and ignore the not-so-good parts.

Neither. I don't think there's anything wrong with having sex with a lot of different people (at least not as long as you're honest), it's just not something that I want to do. I'm not attracted to people unless I feel deeply emotionally connected to them, and I'm paranoid. This cut down on the number of partners I had before I met Lise, and...I really enjoy being married. I am, however, saying that you should not equate the amount of sex people want or have with the number of partners they have or the amount of time they spend discussing it.

 

I committed crimes because I like to eat and it's great to have the money to buy medicine when you're sick.
