i feel like if helen managed to find them eighty miles away, face-down in a deer carcass, it would not be the worst situation she's had to retrieve some moon-struck werewolves from. like. you start the field trip off chaperoning six werewolves and wind up at the end with five werewolves, a border collie, and half a skunk. the sixth werewolf is found a week later in montana, pregnant. and you can consider that a pretty good job. someone always gets stuck on a roof and then cries. someone always chases a rat into somewhere too tight to turn around in. someone always gets a burr in their paw and then gets really offended that you have to touch their paw to get it out. someone jumps into a dumpster and can't get back out. someone finds some roadkill but then won't come near a faucet to de-stink. werewolves.
if helen doesn't find them until after bel can change human again, bel's phone will ring, he'll be like "i'm in lincoln nebraska, i broke into a house, i'm standing here naked using their phone, i should probably book before they come home lol"

coneflower is an extremely powerful coyote who also happens to be good at everything and extremely beautiful. that's just how it is.
Is she new or am I supposed to be making a connection to someone from one of the other universes? I'd think I would have remembered her, she's delightful. (fake edit: It's not that I've never read this thread before the actual rp thread, but when I do, I know I deserve what I get.)
yeah i'm just making coneflower up now, i didn't want to make lainey a coyote because werewolf erskin is hostile to most other canines, most of the time, and i don't want any universe where erskin and lainey don't charm each other. i guess we'll figure out what her deal is as we go along! it's interesting to play a version of erskin that's so utterly selfish and unkind. but he didn't really get the human instinct or the human socialization necessary to dispose him kindly to strangers. just about everyone is an Other to him, to either use or avoid. and he's a young male, so he doesn't feel any compulsion to care for anyone else's children. he's a pretty shitty person by human standards, because he's so inhuman... edit: to be fair, erskin is very gracious and protective when it comes to the few people he loves, and generous with his time, if not his food.
eh, he hasn't really had the resources to take care of others either. bel's certainly not holding it against him beyond scolding him a bit when he taunts littles.
