So I believe this was suggested in another thread so here we go The Premise: Kintsugi is actually a massive crossover, no powers, all human AU. What was everyone originally? Can be existing fictional universes/characters or something entirely made up! Go!

grumpy dark magical person with unresolved foe yay with the protagonist, who keeps trying to get them to switch sides.
i'd be the Protag's Best Friend (TM) who turns out to have a huge secret that ends up leveling up Protag. also i'm some sort of mythical beast with handwavey reasons as to why they can change how they look to fit in.
i'd be a rather unpredictable recurring side character mostly klutzy comic relief, but also always there to emotionally support other characters
I think id be that one npc that gives a vague cryptic hint as to where the macguffin/holy grail is. And nothing else.... until you trigger a nonrequired boss quest, in which case i give an even more cryptic and vague hint as to where the boss is :D

That annoying Faerie that keeps showing up and giving really creepy-sounding hints about what to do next - but they are so vague as to be useless and usually worded in a way as to be easily interpreted wrong, leading to much "shit, she meant go THAT way! That was three days wasted."
"There was a turn that was missed. Probably should have taken it. The other way is harder, but might cause a death to be avoided." (the death of the boss at the end of the path :D ).
Lol im the npc with the long spiel that you have to read/listen to in order to get what im hinting at. I tell the entire history of the land and the macguffin, but you have trigger/bother me several times before you really understand what i say and if you dont, you have scroll through the entire thing ALL OVER AGAIN (mwahahaha)
