@WithAnH The obvious association is space, so probably a cool space person. Maybe you did sciencey stuff on a space ship in a scifi setting?
I'm that person who shows up once to say something that basically confirms where the protagonist already thought they probably needed to go, and then is never seen again.
@Raire I quickly pictured a cool super-biologist on a kids TV show, like a cross between Magic School Bus, Wild Kratts, and Captain Planet. You somehow are a specialist in every aspect of biology, from medical microbiology to paleontology to conservation biology. You're part of a team of scientists who are also superheroes that fight evil and improper data reporting, and also probably stopped a huge meteor from hitting Earth at some point.
@Raire Alternatively, you're in a modern fantasy setting, and you're a scientist who is also a witch. People ask you how you can be both a scientist AND a witch and you laugh at the false dichotomy.

I think i want to write my npc spiel but first a few quesions. 1. Whats the macguffin? 2. Where is this kintsuginland?
I'd be an NPC that seems to have ties to absolutely everyone and a past history with prominent individuals, but inexplicably goes unremembered by all of them and occasionally makes an allusion that such is just to be expected. There's probably a sidequest that promises an answer to what phenomenon is behind this, but upon completion it's an anticlimax and resolves nothing.
